48 in. Adjustable T-Square is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Right angles are not exactly 90 degrees... When I bought this adjustable T-square, my thinking was that I could have a T-square for use at home -- for all the reasons one would want a T-square (such as marking lines on wood which are exactly perpendicular to the edge) -- which could also collapse down to only take up space along a single dimension, making it easy to store. As for the second part, storage, it's aces! The problem, however, is using this adjustable T-square to draw those lines which are exactly perpendicular to the edge of a board. On most of the lines I've drawn where I've _wanted_ them to be 90 degrees from the edge of the board, I've found that few of them are. Until I can trust this product, I've had to test it at home, and I've done so by making additional measurements, with different tools, after I've drawn my lines with this tool, and, for a line drawn along a 4-foot section of board, where the line was supposed to be perpendicular to one edge, which would make the line exactly the same distance at both the top and the bottom of the line from the parallel edge, I've found differences in distance by as much as 0.5 inches! Now, it's possible that I simply had purchased one of these which was faulty, but that most of them are good. It's also possible that this particular product is no good, but, for the most part, all other adjustable T-squares are simply fine. I am convinced, however, that one will encounter problems like the one major problem I encountered if one decides to purchase ANY adjustable T-square, of any brand, no matter how "well it checks out in the store". Tomorrow I go to purchase a T-square which is not adjustable, which is permanently in one o' them non-89-degree right angles!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A solid purchase Definitely a solid and wonderfully adjustable straightedge and square. It can be a bit frustrating on large flat surfaces because of the edge that was made for drywall, but overall it has served me very well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor ink quality Two issues. Minor issue is low QC. If you buy one of these in store be sure to test that the adjustment grooves lock flush and use an L square to verify trueness. I found 2 on the rack with issues. Major issue is ink has poor chemical resistance. A bit of an issue for woodwork. Spill a bit of xylol or miner spirits on it or touch it with dirty fingers and you can kiss your ruler marks goodbye. You won't be able to e.g. clean spills off this with paint thinner. You also wont be able to get the residue from their marketing stickers off without ruining the ink. -2 stars for the ink. Wish they would have engraved the markers. Other than that, useful, heavy duty, adjustment is solid, true, and consistent (as long as you do your own QC before purchasing).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact I'm going to keep this compact T. Folds up nice and it locks in as a perfect square. I will have to sell my other fixed types because they will never get used again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Edge of Rule Needs and better and quicker way to lock in place. Also the edges seem hard to use too rounded and not deep enough
