Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well built My only complaint is how slow the digital readout can be. It often takes a few seconds or more to stabilize at a reading. It was an overkill purchase for me but I am happy with it. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ok if you have a degree in digital physics way to sensitive for general construction and hard to use. I will say it was very well built and I will use it for very special projects July 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by display failed immediately! Display is dead right out of the box... waste of time. June 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of time Purchased the first level 1 week ago installed the batteries and NOTHING! Brand new Batteries and tested them! Returned and purchased the second one and only half of the display works! I done wasting time ! Returning for a full refund. May 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One Of The Best Levels Avalable This may not be what you would find most homeowners using to put up a deck or add a wall but if they had one of these it makes life so much easier. Since this level gives you a tone when level is reached you don't even need to look at it. You can use velcro straps to hold this to any board that needs to be level and when the tone sounds it can be nailed off. This frees both hands and lets you keep your eyes where they need to be. In short this level eliminates a lot of frustration when working alone. I am older and normally need glasses to read but the large readout (the numerals are 5/8" tall) makes glasses optional. Even in bright sunlight the numerals are very easy to read. I have used levels like this one to check contractors work after a pour of concrete on sidewalks and sidewalk ramps. Since this level will readout in degrees and slope among others, it makes construction inspection an easy task. The on off and laser function buttons have a delay built in. This keeps the level and laser from being turned on or off accidentally. A nice feature when wearing gloves. This is one fine instrument. The build quality is excellent, this level feels as good as it looks and works. The top and bottom have a milled finish that makes it easy to handle in wet weather. Even the bubbles are easy to read. Really the only thing that its missing is a tapped hole in the bottom of the level to attach it to a tripod when using the laser function. Easy to work around but it would have been nice. Even the included soft carrying case is nice. It has two handles, one long and one short. There is even a pocket inside to carry batteries and the instructions. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a level that would last a lifetime. July 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good product if bubble and digital readings don’t conflict This laser level comes with a nice carrying/storage case. It requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Once the batteries are in and you switch it ON, right away it displays the temperature since the best leveling results can only be achieved within 32-122 degrees F through this unit. An instruction manual is provided with this level but it really does not offer much help for an average DIYer. I believe it assumes that you already know about using digital lasers levels. Its UNITS option provides three modes of readings i.e. %, Degree and inches/foot. When you are trying to achieve level with any of these three 3 modes, the LCD displays pencil shaped icons which can be different in sizes, I had no idea what those icons meant, neither the instructions manual talked about them, So I had to kind of struggle through it to learn what they could mean. When using it horizontally, the bubble level and digital level give me the same readings but when using it vertically, bubble and digital display never tend to agree. Based on the limited help available through the instructions manual, I am not doing anything wrong. I have tried calibrating twice but again vertical leveling does not give same readings through bubble and digital. Facing the front of the level, the laser light streams out from the right side of the level, this is very helpful when you need to achieve proper grading in large areas or achieve a straight line over a distance. Enabling the Audio option beeps when you reach within 1 degree of level, a very nice feature for professionals. I would not recommend it for general home use. If you are a professional who does not require any instruction, it’s a good product as long as bubble and digital readings do not conflict. July 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This thing is sweet Great level! Great for finding the slope on concrete work as well as stairs. A little pricy for the homeowner but a must have for any contractor. January 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad buy Cheaply built, calibration is difficult and instructions are vague. Battery life is non existant and beware if youre buyig this in a pinch as it doesnt come with battaries. October 6, 2015
