Years ago I purchased these to keep my pets out of the flower bed. Then I moved them to a friends house to block holes in her fence so my puppy couldn't get out. That was back in 2000. Yes, sixteen years ago. This year, 2016, new dog, same fence, I purchased additional ones for new low spaces in the fence. I haven't had any problem with the original ones breaking down nor any problems connecting them or placing them securely in the dirt. These have worked well for me. Are they the best quality? No, probably not. But you can't beat it for the price. I check the connector to make sure they work and are not broken before purchase. I plan on buying additional ones to secure a play yard in my front yard for my chihuahua. I think they'll work great.

I wish I could give it negative stars. Why would Home Depot sell such ridiculous made-in-China trash?
Can't pound them into the ground, can't get them to line-up to connect them, won't stay connected on those rare occasions when you do get them lined up.
Waste of three hours monkeying with these things. Returned them.

I happen to think these fences are great. I have no problem placing them into the ground and they seem to be able to hold their shape.

Product is flimsy. They do not snap together . Sure you can put them in the holes but they do not lock into place. Making them very hard to line up nice and evenly.

These pieces are designed to lock together showing the appearance of a continuous fence. It is absolutely impossible to get them to lock together. They have to be pushed into the ground, which is extremely hard due to the cheap flimsy plastic that they are made of. They have to be placed at the EXACT spot in order for them to lineup to be connected. It is totally impossible to do this unless you are installing them on a beach of sand. They are junk and do NOT work. Do not buy this product and save yourself some time and money.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by finny123 not durable and does not stay straight
I bought this to keep the birds out of my front garden. The fence looked nice initially but then started to bend and looked cheap as the months past as it did not retain a straight line (each part clips to the next). It is probably ok for smaller areas and is quite pretty but I do not recommend for a section that is more than 5ft in length.

I bought this product to create a border around my garden to keep my turtle out of it. The installation was a little tricky and sometimes the pieces did not connect well. It really helps if the ground your installing it in is level. We used some heavy duty stakes to secure the fencing even more and it worked well. Great amount of fencing for the price. The best deal I've seen. We still have a lot of fencing left over.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sheri Not good for curves
The fencing does look nice and was easy to install. I took other reviewer's tips about using a tent stake to tap the hole. It does not go around curves well since there is only a stake at each end. Tends to not stay clipped together on curves. If you've got a straight edge, I'm sure this would work great.
