Interesting that the other answers, including from the manufacturers are "yes."
If the material is flammable, common sense says "NOT PRUDENT" to do so.

Answer:
Yes these pavers are ideal for that type of use. Please be careful about any flames or grease on the pavers though because they are plastic. Thanks for your question and good luck.

Answer:
I don't think they'd get scorching hot or anything. I have mine in a soil basement, so they don't get touched by the sun. I can't really answer your question properly (and I'm thinking of resin playground equipment that gets really hot, so I know why you're asking).

As with anything left out in the sun for extended periods of time, they will get hot, but should be fine for your dogs. Thanks

We do not recommend parking a car or SUV on the pavers. They are recommended to hold body weight only. Thanks

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by More flimsy than expected I'm not sure what purpose these would be good for since they are so thin and feel like they are going to crack under your feet. I was hoping to use them for my BBQ but I was worried they would crack under the weight. They need a few inches more paver sand than regular pavers to be the actual support for a person to stand on. I knew they would look a bit cheap considering what I was buying but they looked worse than I expected. I returned them for regular cement pavers. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ok just set on ground and drove car on ,held up . picked back up to fill area uder pad for more support July 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Meh.. One cracked. Weak flimsy need strong support around them quite disappointed. June 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product for the price Very easy to assemble. Meets what I was looking for to complete my project May 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy, quick patio I needed a larger patio for some furniture that I inherited, but I didn't want to deal with digging up the yard, hauling around leveling sand, and lifting/placing heavy pavers. These lightweight pavers allowed me to create a suitable patio in minutes. I brushed sand into the cracks, which was probably not necessary. The patio has held up for a couple years now, and most of the pavers are becoming more solid-feeling as they sink into the ground (I found that they will shift a bit when you walk on them for the first month or so, but they eventually grab onto the ground and stay put). Every so often, I place another order to make my patio a bit bigger. I did have an issue where one of my chairs' leg poked through a paver, so I would not recommend these pavers for patio furniture with pointy legs. But for walking on (no more stepping in mud, yay) and holding non-pointy things, these work fine. I am lucky in that my patio area was already level; you would probably have issues installing these on ground that was not level. April 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A little odd I purchased these resin pavers for a soil basement — to have dry walkways. Although the pavers are easy to place and install (they are sturdy and lightweight), when it came to walking on them, they bowed outward, sagging in the middle under my weight (I weigh all of 120 lbs). They do 'cling' well to the soil and are reinforced in the middle, so there is no question of cracking or anything. However, they didn't serve the purpose of being walked on very well. They serve the purpose of forming a platform to stand a cupboard or shelving unit or dehumidifier on very well, though. So, it depends what you want to use them for. Since most people would buy them as 'stepping stones' to walk on, I would not recommend them for that. If you need a weather-resistant 'platform' to set something on, they're perfect (and can take weight, no problem). August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product I used this product under my small shed to stabilize it. It works great, was lightweight and looks good. The pavers were too heavy so I was so glad to find a product that would work for me. August 11, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by so far so good I bought these to cover the soil around a rectangular patio, as the garden area had become too much for me.. They are not in a high-traffic area - in fact, they will probably just have a couple of potted plants on them. (They sit between concrete pavers and the fence.) I don't think I would use them to make a full-fledged patio, but for my purposes, they work fine. I especially like that they are lightweight and easy to install - just be careful taking them out of the box because the plastic teeth on each piece break off easily. September 3, 2014
