Answer:
Outside "BUT" .. if you need a couple of inches to slip it over something it can do it utilizing the front and back walls .. Mine is slipped over a plastic drum in the ground that was several inches bigger than the inside dimensions at the base with no problem.. I'm not saying "flimsy" , I'm saying it's workable....

The wall thickness on the resin rock is approx. 3/16 inch, so the difference between the outside and inside dimensions is negligible. The rock is slightly tapered as is shown in the picture. The depth [length] goes from 18" at the very top to 19-1/2" at the base, and the height goes from a bit over 29" at the lowest to 30" at the peak. I am not sure how the manufacturer came up with dimensions listed in the description as the width is most certainly NOT 29" [that is a height measurement]. The length [depth] and height measurements in the description are the maximum for the dimension stated and are accurate from my measurements. To get an area that the base of the rock will cover, the edges measure 19-12" x 13" x 19-1/2" x 15". The rock readily accommodates the wellhead paraphernalia that is above ground, and there is ample interior space for insulation around the wellhead. Hope this helps. Read Less

Can you cut this?

How difficult is this to cut through? The pipe assembly I need to cover has a pipe that goes directly into the wall, so I would need to cut out an area of the rock so it would fit over it. Would I be able to cut this with a saw or dremel tool, or am I going to destroy it trying?

Answer:
Ho MBSD,
A scroll saw or jigsaw will cut this. You will need a blade that can cut resin plastic. Metal cutting blades will cut too slowly, causing the blade to heat up and will melt the resin.
A wood blade will cut faster, but will require cleanup with a file or rasp along the cut area.
Thank you for asking,

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ensconced 19.5 in. L x 29 in W x 30 in. H resin landscape rock We used the resin rock to cover well pipes. It's looks great! September 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Buy I was worried about the base dimensions as I had installed a 5' neutralizer tank having dropped it into the ground inside a 40 gallon plastic drum. Without any associated flimsiness the "Rock" stretched comfortably around the extruding 3" of the barrel to create the perfect Landscaping disguise. A smaller rock sits comfortably over the valve piping to the tank and the wellhead.. These purchases worked really "well" (pun intended) for me. Not to mention the pricing was the lowest I was able to find with exhaustive searching .. Kudo's to the Depo for making this available for free fast shipping to my doorstep . October 6, 2015
