PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Model # 2032HD

Internet # 100640930

The Emsco Group Outdoor TrimFree Bedrocks Edging creates a beautiful edge border to enhance your garden or lawn with a look of stacked slate, great for adding definition to any border around your flower beds, mailbox area, playground, etc. The exclusive TrimFree feature forms a barrier to prohibit grass or vegetation growth so no edging is needed after mowing; just mow grass to the edge and no "weed whacking" is necessary. It adjusts to a 180-degree angle at the joints to easily form right angles, curves and bends. The edging is easy to install; simply tap in the extra long spikes to each piece (10 included) with a hammer or mallet. Each pack contains enough edging to cover approximately 20 ft., with all necessary endcaps and spikes included.

  • Flanged side forms a barrier that prohibits the growth of grass
  • Adjusts up to 180-degree angle at the joints to form right angles, curves and bends
  • Attractive stacked-slate border looks great for any application
  • Hammer-in edging system with extra long spikes that hold each piece in place
  • 5-year factory warranty

Answer:
First, each piece is 15" effectively (from spike to spike.) You get 16 pieces per box. 16 x 15" = 240" = 20' as advertised.
15' = 180" / 15" per piece = 12, so each 15' section of your pool would need 12 pieces. You have, in effect, six 15' sections (counting the 30' as two 15'), so you need 72 pieces.
72 pieces / 16 pieces per box = 4.5 boxes, so you need to buy 5 boxes to go completely around Read More

If you don't need to go all around it, I hope my math will help you figure out how much you do need. Read Less

Answer:
If your pool is a rectangle 15' by 30' and each section is 12" or 1', you will need 15' + 30' + 15' + 30' = 90'.
So, If each box contain 20 sections or 20' you will need 5 boxes, which will contain 100'.
That will be good because you will have 10 extra feet to work with, in case you have any problems with any of the sections.

Answer:
Make sure you get much more than you need because when they are counting 20ft in box, you do not get 20 ft unless you count the extra ends or something. I needed 36ft in front and 26ft on side, ordered 80ft or 4 boxes to be safe and did not have a single one left. In fact used a couple ends to look like one for the very last piece

Answer:
I would buy 3 boxes of the 20ft or you can get two 20ft and one 10ft - but you would have to buy the 10ft somewhere else and it costs about as much as the 20ft at Home Depot.

Answer:
If the pool is rectangular and you are putting the bedrocks right next to your pool, then 4 boxes of 20 pcs each should be enough. If it is going a few inches longer than that you should also be fine. Any unopened boxes can be returned. Thanks

Since the actual pic itself doesn't bend, you kind of set like a train track since they hook together. Mine is several curves scrolled around. Looks nice

Answer:
You're looking at the wrong type of "edging". These are not stacked, they are only for placing end-to-end. In fact, each piece is hollow and come in the box stacked within each other.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 232 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use I'm going to rate this as a 4 star for now pending how it does through the summer. I'm using mine for protection around my trees in the front yard. I live in an upper-middle class neighborhood and the comments from my neighbors have been that they think they look good. These are very easy to put down. The pieces just snap together and then you push in the stakes provided. In my yard I was able to push the stake in with just my hand, which has me a bit concerned. I hire a guy to mow my yard, and while he is good and I'm sure will take due care when mowing around them, I'm concerned that the stakes will start coming up as the edges are run over time and again. We'll have to wait and see. I'm posting three pictures of my use. I expect all of these to look better once my Bermuda grass gets growing and covers some of the edging. Overall, considering how much cheaper this is than the real stones, if I have further need of a border I would come back and get some more. March 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Look good but poor construction This edging looks great, however, I end up having to hammer them back into the ground almost daily. The stakes barely reach into the ground and really need to be twice as long to provide any real support. I also had a few stakes that ended up hammering right through the main edging material rendering that stake hole useless. Lastly, the product states that it's meant to have the wheel of your lawn mover ride over the edge. Doing so however, caused about 20% of the stakes to pop up and get run over and torn up. I ended up having to open an extra box that I was going to return just to get some replacement stakes - waste of $50! May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gray edging Great looking products. Looks like real cement bricks until you touch them realize its plastic. Made my flower bed look nice. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really Great Idea! Pretty, durable, easy to work with. We were able to paint them the color we wanted - look really good! June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install. Looks great Easy to install, looks really great. Material is plastic and I can see how this could get damaged easily with kids stepping on it and stuff. Not sure how well it will hold up to having two young boys. But for know it looks great. Easy to mow around. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garden finish Easy to install, added a great finish to flower garden. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bedrock nice look Great product. Put a nice look to my flower bed. Would recommend this product to anyone who want a simple yet beautiful look May 17, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I do not like these I knew what I was buying and only bought a few to see what they looked like. I do not like them, they are resin and look resin to. Maybe my expectations of them were too high. but to me they look tacky. May 21, 2016
