Each planter came in its own plain box with no instructions and loose screws. We mounted them on 4 in x 4 in wood posts. The strap was very difficult to deal with and definitely would not hold up a heavy planter on its own. Thank heaven it came with 2 screws but they were short screws. I have no hope of these lasting long as one planter already cracked above the hole for the left side tie strip. Both this area and where the screws are used should have been reenforced. The planters look good mounted. Both the tie on straps and mounting system are poor. design Maybe this design would work better on a circular post. Too bad it is not a better made product, right now they look great mounted with the plants growing in them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BambooTho Great look for any garden or patio!
I enjoy making the best use of any available space in my small backyard and patio. This vertical planter is perfect for highlighting any flowers or plants, in my case, strawberry plants. It's easy to install but I didn't see any directions so I had to guess which way the band goes around the post. I did need help to tighten the band so the planter wouldn't fall down the post and I added a nail under it for added precaution. My strawberries are growing well and a little frog even made his home up there for a while! I would love to have more planters to put under the one I have up now.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MERLIN Nice but too expensive!
This was just what I was looking for for the posts on my deck! Would like to have a couple more but not a current price- too expensive! They are plastic for crying out loud!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by signet Vertical planter for very specific use
I found this planter very unstable on the wooden post I tried it on. It seemed difficult to tighten the zip ties snugly and when I went to try and undo it to try it somewhere else, it would not come loose. I think the idea of a vertical attachment is great but the fastening system needs work. The color is very pleasant.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SimpleKitchen Very cute and perfect fit
This fit perfectly on the top of a fencepost and I was able to leave the loop loose so I can remove it and move it somewhere else if needed. I liked how the holes at the bottom are somewhat elevated so it will keep some water in reserve at the bottom. I just put rocks at the bottom before adding the dirt. Up close its pretty obvious that it's plastic, but it has a nice texture and looks a lot better than trying to rig some other pot to hang on the fence.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OrganicinClovis It's good but doesn't work where I need it.
For most people it would work fine, but for me my metal pole isn't big enough and it's a 3" diameter pole. This best works with 5-10" dia poles. Of course any size wood poles will work because you can use nails to attach it.
It's a bit difficult to loosen it once you tighten it but you can loosen with a small flat head screwdriver the easiest.
It is a pretty dark brown color and the size is nice for a couple hanging flower types. Lets you add color in weird places.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by maddiegirl How did I not know about this?
Ok, what can I tell you about this planter? It's winter as I write this but feel that I can still tell you about this prior to actually planting something in it first. I loved how it just snugged up on my endpost on my porch railing. It can be installed in two different ways: 1. Two zip ties comes with it so it can be relocated if you want it to be more mobile. 2. If you want to make it more permanent; there is a place for two screws, which are also included so you can screw it to your post. The pot itself is sturdy & good quality. Has 2 drainage holes at the bottom that are actually raised up but I think that's not a bad idea...so water won't run out the bottom as quickly...if it does, you know for sure you may have overwatered. I would definitely recommend this and will be getting another one for my other porch handrail post.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tanner08 Lends a nice touch to my mailbox post
I love, love, this little planter. I did have to install it on the side of my mailbox post rather than the back, but it still looks terrific. I used the included screws to make it more secure rather than the (also provided) straps. Makes my mailbox unique !
