Answer:
There shouldn't be a problem if this is installed on the outside, surrounding area of the fireplace. There might be an issue with the cement/grout used due to heat exposure, therefore, the appropriate type of cement/grout should be recommended by your installer.

I am still confused as to which tile has the darkest color. The Page says it is Tan/Glazed on the website and the York says its Brown/Glazed. However the picture with the York tile looks a lot more like tan to me. Usually if something is tan its lighter in color than brown. I am looking for a dark tile so i am trying to determine which tile is the darkest in color.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tile looks like an Oak color however more like dark Walnut Product is beautiful however not the color I wanted (an Oak) and what it looks like in your pictures online. It looks more lake dark Walnut. I moved 3400 lbs./82 boxes to my basement and had contractors to install setup for day after delivery and could not think about a return. Disappointed with color but the floor is very nice. October 30, 2014
