Answer:
It will depend on the effect you are looking to accomplish. If you want to allow them to grow into a continuous hedge I would plant them around 24 inches apart. If you want individual shrubs I would plant them 32+ inches apart.

If your soil is less than adequate and your plants keep dying I would recommend digging the hole that your are planting your shrub in at least 3x larger than the pot the shrub arrived in and use a quality garden soil to back fill the hole around the plant. Answer (1)

March 28, 2016
Answer:
We recommend planting in times of the year when the temperatures are going to be mild, so in New Jersey you will want to wait a couple of weeks after the last freeze of the year. Typically March to early June, and late august to October are going to be your ideal planting times.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easiest Way to Buy Plants I have been researching plants to buy in order to redo my landscape and struggled to find exactly what I wanted in various garden centers. Once I discovered that Home Depot offered the exact plant I was wanting as well as many more online I was very pleased. The plants arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. Knowing the condition and ease, I will try to order all my plants online if possible. August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Arrived even better than expected! We were impressed with the quality of these azaleas as well as the shipping containers. Each of the 5 we ordered arrived in perfect condition. They even had a few blooms already. Simply lovely. They are just what we wanted. June 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Encore Beautiful greenery I have not had the chance to see it bloom yet. Although it was very full and well packed. June 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Inaccurate product information I ordered 3 of these because the site stated that it would grow 48 inches in height. When I received the products, it says that these are "dwarf" azaleas that only grow 36 inches tall. Please correct the website. I would not have bought these had I known these were dwarf azaleas. The colors are as shows on the site. April 10, 2015
