Answer:
If I understand your question, poorly written as it is, then possibly yes. If you mean to say you have a motor that draws 7 amps at 115 VAC, then you would be at 805 Watts (7A*115V=805W) which is pretty close to the Continuous Wattage rating of 800. If by chance your motor draws 120 VAC, then you're still within what I would consider a valid range. And if your motor has a 7 amp starting load, then drops Read More

If by chance your motor draws 120 VAC, then you're still within what I would consider a valid range. And if your motor has a 7 amp starting load, then drops down to say 4 or 5 amps once running, then you are certainly in the ballpark as this generator's specs say it will surge (as in provide extra power to spin up a motor) to 1250 Watts, so 1250W/115V=10.86A when you only need 7. CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok for the money I bought this generator to take on a camping trip, it was definitely too small. The reviews I read said it was perfect for a pop up camper & would do the trick. Not the case, we only had the camper plugged into it with nothing inside on. Plugged a fan into the outlet & it blew the generator fuse right away. We had to unplug the camper & plug whatever we needed to run directly into the generator. Biggest con of the purchase was the noise, it is NOT at all quiet. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice little unit So far very easy to start, handles all the lighting I use with ease June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great little generator Great little generator! Bought it to use with corded tools when away from the house and cordless tools are not strong enough for a long job. It's a lot easier than trying to string 300 feet of extension cord. I also use it at work, so that I don't have to load up the larger heaver generator. June 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mighty Mite!!! Straight out of the Box this Generator was a Pure Joy to use. Take time to read Owners Manual for first start up. It wont take long and is very important. My friends were over when it arrived and helped with pictures and start up. Put in gas and 3 pulls was all it took! Waited 5 minutes, per manual instructions and plugged in my 2 1/2 hp. table saw. Slight draw then steady Power, even cutting through a 2 by 4. Let run 3 minutes. and shut off. started again in a few minutes with 1 pull. Very easy to use. Light weight. Plenty of Power for a 1250- Watt Generator. Very pleased. June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly What I Needed I've never owned a generator so I wasn't sure what to expect. This Energin 1250 Watt Generator however was exactly what I needed. From taking it out of the box to having it up and running took all of ten minutes. The only assembly needed was attaching the carry handle on top. I used 50:1 premix fuel rather than mixing my own. It just seems to work better to me. It took two pulls and it was humming away. I tested a box fan, drill, portable radio, 19 inch television, and our second refrigerator (all separately). They all ran without issue. I was very pleased with the sound level. I envisioned this 2 cycle engine screaming like a weed trimmer but that's not the case. Locating it just a little away from the area you are in makes the noise seemingly disappear. I intend to take this on our next camping trip. My family camps in tents. There is no great need for electricity but having it is nice for watching movies, listening to the radio, and recharging equipment. Having our own power keeps us from draining the car battery and allows use to camp in parks where there are no electrical hookups. June 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No prblems at all I used this for a weeked of camping. It's started right up every time the only thig that I didn't like is. I ran two fans and that's it. And it would only run for about 6 hours. Other then a bigger gas tank it ran great. No problems at all. September 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great small generator Started right up . Ran fine. Less noisy than expected, great performance. Looks well made, not flimsy. Can't predict reliability, as only ran it for a short while to see how well it worked, but overall very satisfied with the power output. July 3, 2014
