I can not be sure about your particular system but I know that these worked for my smoke detector and my own window and door sensors for my "burglar alarm system."
If you have any doubts, I would take the old battery with you to HD and compare the batteries with your old battery. That's what I had to do. It took two trips but at least I knew I picked up the right ones.
Don't make my same mistake,

Answer:
That is what I use it for (one of the sensors) and It will last many years so for the price a little high but does the job. Note place the date on the batteries when installed with a sharpie on batteries or on a piece of painters tape on back of unit.

Answer:
I think you should be able to check the smoke detector specs for that information. You should also be able to test the battery with a volt/amp meter. The battery manufacturer probably also has some specs for how much performance to expect from their products.

As a general rule of thumb, I change the battery every year & retain the older battery for other devices that aren't "life critical" such as cameras, etc...

Answer:
Yes. I had a similar question when I purchased them. The Panasonic batteries that were in my smoke detector were CR123a and I purchased these Energizer batteries because they looked EXACTLY like the old ones.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best pack of batteries for my Surefire flashlight When I need new batteries for my lights, I usually need at least a pair of them, and this package delivers. The pricing may be a bit steep, but that will depend on the store you are buying from. My local store had them on sale, so it was a pretty good deal. October 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What I needed My mother-in-law needed replacement batteries for her smoke detector. She had no idea where to get them. I offered to help. I did a quick internet search and found that Home Depot had them in stock. I picked them up the next day. March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good price, great batteries! I use these batteries for a tactical flashlight. They work great and provide good battery life. I recommend the Energizer brand. For a little more they provide good battery life and quality, March 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Necessary purchase. Needed these batteries to replace an old battery in my smoke detector. I am satisfied with my purchase and I know that I will need to use the second battery in this two-pack since all of my wireless alarm system components use this type of battery as well. We'll see how long they last but so far so good. March 8, 2016
