Thank you for taking the time to contact Energizer, we would be happy to assist. To install the batteries in the LED Inspection light, simply twist off the end cap counter clockwise. Once you have that open you can install the batteries. The end cap might be sealed pretty good for the first time but after it is opened it will be easier to open moving forward. Please feel free to contact us at Read More

Answer:
Hello Mike,
To change the batteries in this flashlight turn the bottom counter clockwise until it releases the cap. The batteries are located directly under that cap.
Thank you for your question.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy little light The flashlight provide sufficient light to do spot inspections in dark areas (trailers, storage units, cars) and is thin enough for your shirt pocket. It requires two AAA batteries instead of the old three cell types. The original batteries that came with it have lasted for over two months on everyday use for up to ten minutes at a time March 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little light You can't beat the value of this little light for the price. It is bright, well designed and durable. March 1, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BrIght. too high priced for value Flashlight when is use has tendency to 'unscrew' the battery compartment--inconvenient Would have purchased "MAG" light--out of stock at stock during this purchase February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by happy user Works very well. Small, compact, tough and the light is very bright for working in tight areas. November 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great purchase The flashlight is extremely bright and great for enclosed dark places. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly recommended Very handy. Solid product, excellent clip hold well in pocket. Very bright light from such a small package. September 14, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Flashlight It's a nice size as it would fit in a purse, pocket, glove box, tackle box, etc. It has a high and low bean which actually has come in handy. The downside of it is the on/off button is very hard to push. Also if it has rope or a hanger of some sort would have made this handier. But on/off button was the big turn off for this product January 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good flashlight Puts out a lot of light for such a small flashlight. It has two brightness settings which it really doesn't need. I only use the brightest setting. The push button on/off switch is kind of hard to press but I guess that's so it doesn't go on while in your pocket or tool box. February 10, 2015
