Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sbr1429 Batteries are batteries. I have a large wide rim Energizer Flash Light which gives ample bright light if power goes out. Life of battery is several years or longer.

I bought this battery (last one in the store) right before the blizzard hit.. Needed to have a feeling of security. It was 3 times the cost of lesser quality battery but 3 times the weight. Never needed it (never lost power) but I'm still glad I got it. I'll be ready when the next storm hits.

Batteries are batteries, right? However, when buying one of these it is important to check the PRICE!
When checking the price of these and similar items, I found anything ranging from $4 to over $100. One other thing to check, when buying this type of battery, is the date code on the bottom. Is it good until 2017, 2018, or beyond? It IS possible to have different dates on the same display rack, so it's a good idea to check. I needed three of these batteries, and found that, in this case, Home Depot definitely had the most "bang for the buck".

I use this brand exclusively for my game camera, as you can see we are having some issues in a pasture. Large wild hogs.

I think this product is great - however, I had to return it because I needed a rechargeable battery. At this point, I prefer devices that do not use rechargeables. However, Home Depot was very accommodating about the return!
