Have installed the batteries in a flashlight and a keypad door lock and they seem to be working well but it hasn't been all that long. I chose Energizer after bad experiences with Rayovac. In two situations, the Rayovac batteries corroded very early in their life, messing up my game camera and a flashlight. That's a factor in switching to Energizer. I'm hoping for good results. Four stars for now since it's a bit early to make judgments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best to buy in bulk We've been needing to get some batteries for the house and happened to see them on an end-cap while we were purchasing some weed killer, so we grabbed them... once you take them out of the cardboard part of the package you are left with a nifty little plastic package that holds the batteries for you so you won't have to find a place to put them which makes it simple to just pop them in a drawer or something.

Well the energizer battery is my preference and can get costly. The convenience of being able to purchase them in bulk is great, and the fact that they come from HomeDepot is reassuring and satisfying because the HomeDepot stands behind their products and services...which affords me a certain amount of confidence in that they will effective. Thanks HomeDepot!!!

I buy them at HD because I get a discount/Veteran. It is amazing how many batteries we go through with a 10 year old grandson.. I choose these now over rechargeable ones. This time I took a new set out to my RV, and brought in the ones out there that have been around awhile. Even though they are old maybe a year ago, and they seem fine. Semper Fi

In the last couple of years I noticed the Energizer has a noticeably difference durability. The Energizer, from my experience, does last longer than a Duracell battery. I used to get 5-6 months from my weather station. Now it's closer to 7-8 months. I would recommend these AA batteries.

In a time where most products are rechargeable we still have those one or two items that require these old "baddies" and I say that because they go in the trash... but you can put them in the "recycle bin" in the front of every Home Depot and they will be handled efficiently to protect the environment. They last kinda long, with 36 you don't worry much ^_^
