Answer:
An external wall thermostat can be used on our pellet units, as long as it is a low-voltage type that works with millivolt systems.
The unit will operate differently once the wall thermostat is connected – we recommend the Control Board be set at “9” on Heat Range and Blower Speed while using the thermostat.

Answer:
Approx. 13 ½” height from floor to center of exhaust. It is always best to measure the exhaust with the stove in place before cutting a hole in your wall.

It will plug into a standard 120v 3 prong outlet. The cord that comes with it is relatively short, so ideally you should have an outlet located or installed near it. I personally replaced the original cord with a heavy duty 6' appliance cord to reach my nearest outlet. I don't know how many Amps it uses, but I know the "quick blow" fuse on the control panel is 6Amps. Most homes are wired for 10, 15, and 20 Amps at the panel box, 15 being the average for most outlets. Unless you have solar battery storage capable of putting out enough Amps to power the stove, a pellet stove will not work for you. The combustion chamber of pellet stove requires a blower motor for both air to burn, and air to vent the stove, it will not use a natural draft except during power loss to evacuate smoke. Without the blower motor going the stove will shut off. It sounds like you need a wood stove with a natural draft chimney vent system. No power necessary just would need the clearances for the venting which are larger tolerances than those required for blower vents. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best thing ever Bought this stove for our mobile home. Could not be happier. Easy to install. Makes such a difference in how our place is heated. Highly recommend. October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by American made value Already had a Breckwell, good stove but $1500 more than this stove, which has much better fan control. Sothwest Arizona so we don't need a huge unit for 2400 sqft. Very likely will buy another for our daughter. Yuma store manager did outstanding job of getting my veteran discount. He has my store loyalty. January 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Small Pellet Stove,Easy to Clean Very easy to use and to set up.Easy to clean. The only problem was finding the correct chimney exhaust pipes to vent out of an existing chimney. January 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by very good price works well installed easy ond good instructions. heavy but 2 people can handle moving June 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Pellet Stove I know 5 other people with this stove. I've heard nothing but positive reviews from them. The price of LP is ridiculous so I got one. Very easy to hookup where the LP stove was. I'm estimating a savings of 2k a year! October 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stove for the price Bought this stove to heat an 1,100 square foot Ranch home. Wanted a coal stove because the BTU of coal is 12,500 per pound vs. 7,200 BTU's for pellets at about the same cost per ton but price of a good coal stove forbid that from happening for now at least. This stove works excellent and heats the 1100 foot home at ease. It is an older home with not very good insulation and it has been between -8degrees at night to 10 above during the day and I have the stove set on Heat range 5 out of a possible 9 range and I am comfortable and so is my wallet after turning off the electric heat which was costing me $800-$1000 a month at 69.5 cents per Kwh which is insane. I now spend about $3-6 per day depending on outside temperature to stay warm. The stove has the control panel on the right hand side panel which doesn't suite my location very well because it is next to a wall on that side but I have worked around it by using a mirror to read the control panel. when I make adjustments. Home Depot sold me the DuraVent Pellet Stove vent system which came with "Everything you need" EXCEPT Silicone for sealing the pipes which you will NEED as the pipes leak at ALL Joints if not used and even the seams leak. Not at all impressed with the DuraVent Quality. Had to stop installation and run around on a Sunday evening just to buy Silicone. SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE BOX especially for what I paid and considering what it would have cost them to include it to eliminate the HASSLE of running around to find it. Could just imagine someone buying it for a remote area and then having to drive hours to get it.. Anyway, the Stove itself is A+. I had a Breckwell Pellet stove about 12 years ago and I prefer this one over that one . The only thing that is a little awkward is the top loader panel latches but you get used to them quickly enough and they will need adjusting after a bit of use but easy enough to do. It also has a cold air intake to use the outside air for combustion which gives you better heat and better oxygen levels inside your home as it is not using the already heated air inside of your home to burn the fire..
