Bought this stove to heat an 1,100 square foot Ranch home. Wanted a coal stove because the BTU of coal is 12,500 per pound vs. 7,200 BTU's for pellets at about the same cost per ton but price of a good coal stove forbid that from happening for now at least.
This stove works excellent and heats the 1100 foot home at ease. It is an older home with not very good insulation and it has been between -8degrees at night to 10 above during the day and I have the stove set on Heat range 5 out of a possible 9 range and I am comfortable and so is my wallet after turning off the electric heat which was costing me $800-$1000 a month at 69.5 cents per Kwh which is insane. I now spend about $3-6 per day depending on outside temperature to stay warm.
The stove has the control panel on the right hand side panel which doesn't suite my location very well because it is next to a wall on that side but I have worked around it by using a mirror to read the control panel. when I make adjustments.
Home Depot sold me the DuraVent Pellet Stove vent system which came with "Everything you need" EXCEPT Silicone for sealing the pipes which you will NEED as the pipes leak at ALL Joints if not used and even the seams leak. Not at all impressed with the DuraVent Quality. Had to stop installation and run around on a Sunday evening just to buy Silicone. SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE BOX especially for what I paid and considering what it would have cost them to include it to eliminate the HASSLE of running around to find it. Could just imagine someone buying it for a remote area and then having to drive hours to get it..
Anyway, the Stove itself is A+. I had a Breckwell Pellet stove about 12 years ago and I prefer this one over that one .
The only thing that is a little awkward is the top loader panel latches but you get used to them quickly enough and they will need adjusting after a bit of use but easy enough to do.
It also has a cold air intake to use the outside air for combustion which gives you better heat and better oxygen levels inside your home as it is not using the already heated air inside of your home to burn the fire..

I know 5 other people with this stove. I've heard nothing but positive reviews from them. The price of LP is ridiculous so I got one. Very easy to hookup where the LP stove was. I'm estimating a savings of 2k a year!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BasicDave I was looking for a heat source for the basement - Great fit for better comfort in the house. Made in the USA!
What I expected, everything has worked flawlessly. My application is a basement - definitely a different on the install than typical, all the required information to do it safely was available. This is a DIY oriented company and from what I can see they deliver a very solid machine that requires maintenance be performed.
If I had it to do over I would do the initial 3 hour burn outside and then bring it in.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by donny it does what it is designed to do, keeps you warm, cheaply
i had to call support because at lowest setting, it would melt you. the tech had me lower the factory feed factory preset rate from 5, down to 2. this is a factory setting that we modified. the change does not affect the normal settings the buyer uses. this slowed down the rate of the pellets. at this setting, i get several more hours of heat for 1 bag. i bought a hopper on ebay that fits right on. now i can hold 1 -1/2 more bags, or 100 pounds of fuel total. now i can go 2 plus days without thinking about it. my cost from home bepot at the time was $995, the hard woot pell that that they sell burns grea. i have no complaints

This little stove provides plenty of heat for my 625 square ft. granny unit when set on 3 or 4. As with any pellet stove it requires regular cleaning in order to operate properly. I clean the burn plate daily. It takes 15 seconds. If I clean the class, that takes another minute or so. Once a week I clean the entire inside, including the heat exchanger with a shop vacuum. That takes about 15 or 20 minutes. You really need a shop vacuum with a metal canister in order to clean it thoroughly and safely. When cleaned and maintained according to the owner's manual it works fine. I really enjoy the auto light feature.

I have had mine for 5 years now with only one auger motor changed out and I did a complete over hall this year. Been a great stove. Easy to work on and great Tech phone help. I also like the fact that you can get parts over night if needed right through the company. No retailer price hike.

Great heat from small stove. It's fairly quiet and easy to clean. I did have the room air blower motor die on me, but I called Englander and they sent me a new part in 2 days. I put it in in 10 minutes. Great stove for the price.
