There are several different things that could cause this. It would be ideal to troubleshoot this with someone near the stove. Please call 800-245-6489 and we would be happy to help you.

Customer Reviews

2,200 sq. ft. Multi Fuel Stove is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Englander 10-CPM I purchased this stove after doing a lot of research about these type stoves. I contacted their support line prior to purchasing just to verify what I had been reading from other reviews. Mike at their tech support sealed the deal, he gave me all the answers to all my questions and when I had the stove, he helped me out with the installation questions and to make sure I knew how to use it. The stove is very nice and it works great, it will really put out some heat. these stoves do make some noise as they have fans, ect, but I think that is a small trade off for not having to deal with firewood. I installed mine in the basement so the exhaust was kind of expensive and I had to go to a couple different places to get what was needed, but it was found locally. thanks, stay warm this winter. Mike

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product ended up being much better then we had planed Have a 2300 sq.ft. home we got this one for our living room and now we no longer need to use our smaller one in our sun room. Well worth the money in fuel savings alone

Rated 3 out of 5 by from AOK with issue points Purchased the multi-fuel stove. After running for 3 weeks, there are some issues. Room air fan makes a harmonic whurl-wind noise like a giant bottle on high burn making it unusable at that output. Got a thermostat from factory. When it reaches temperature it shuts down the stove. No sooner shutdown happens, then it starts right back up again because temp dropped 1 degree. Off/On/Off/On/Off/On there should be a few degrees difference to make that worth while. So, when it reaches high temp and shuts off at say 80, I go over to the TStat and turn it down to say 68, After it kicks back on, I reset it back up to say 80. - PIA. Vibrating metal noises come and go. But for $1400 (Yes 1400 on the Inet) I got what I paid for. It's in the livingroom, and would be most excellent in the Shop. Hopper is on the small side at 40-50# capacity. Eats 40# of Pellets 17.5 hours on lowest burn 1-1. Wish the augar feed was adjustable. Overheated on startup 1 time thus far after I mixed Corn with Pellets and set it to burn Corn 50/50. If you mix, set for pellets is best. Bangs and clanks some times as Corn Clinkers build up over night, early in the pre-dawn hours of course. Not all the settings you might need and use are in the repeatitive manual that comes along. A cheat-sheet is needed to list the operational button controls you may need to change and use, so to quickly have that in an all-in-one simple place would be good, so you don't have to READ the manual all the time when that change is needed.

We have the heat setting on 3 of 9, so we still have the capacity for colder weather. I love the electric starter, no more putting the starter fluid in our stove. The glass stays cleaner than previous stoves. We did have a problem with one motor. I called and sent emails to the manufacture. They finally sent us a motor and it has worked great once the new motor was installed. Thanksgiving holiday and colder weather made it harder to get a response from the manufacture.
