The approximate height of the exhaust is 16", looking from the front of the unit, the exhaust will be left center, from the back of the stove it will be right center.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed Can you say fire hazzard? Its backed up more than once like this and weve only had ita coupke weeks. It does fine on a low setting but when we turn it up the whole thing fills with ash, they dont settle in the tray like they should. Our home is only 1300 sq feet and half of our house is cold, the only room it keeps warm is the room its in, even with extra fans around to help spread the heat. Very disappointed, will be getting a new October 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mistake Noisy, messy, much less efficient than the Whitfield it replaced. Spend your money on something nicer. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stove This is a good stove despite the bad reviews. It will do its job if you keep it clean like it explains in the DVD and the manual. I live in a 1800 sq ft farmhouse and with one ceiling fan and one box fan to distribute the heat. Remember it is not a furnace (no register vents in each room) . Keep it clean and it will perform. Hope this helps October 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Live in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Recently bought and installed this pellet stove in our 1,500 sq ft two story farm house. Very satisfied heats up home very nicely. Only one complaint, when setting blower on highest level it can get a little loud but I guess that's expected with all pellet stoves. One 40 pound bag during extremely cold winter days lasts up to 24 hours, cheaper than using our kerosene or propane heaters. DVD instructions very helpful, love both the look and performance of this pellet stove. March 4, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed A few big design flaws here. First off it is right the hopper will hold 45lb of pellets. Unfortunately the hopper is built with such shallow incline that the stove only burns about 30lbs the rest don't slide down to the auger so the stove goes out with about 10-15 lbs still in the hopper. Crazy loud burner motor. It makes a whistling noise (may be my fault I have not reduced my chimney down to 4 in. diameter like you should. About 5% off pellets don't land in burn tray so lots of unburned pellets at clean up time. Door feels flimsy and always has a bunch of partially burned pellets stuck to it that all fall on the floor as you open the door. Being able to adjust blower fan speed is nice. I recommend you buy the Pleasant Hearth stove with the 120lb hopper. I own it also and love it. When I am being lazy I can let it burn for 3 days without touching it. Not as pretty as this stove but better and cheaper. March 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A clean stove is a happy stove Everyone complaining about pellets over filling the burn pot are not following the cleaning specs. I went 4 days without opening the door just to see how long it would go... Low and behold my burnpot only had minor build up. You need to take 15 minutes a week and do the minor clean and do the monthly cleaning... monthly!!! 90% of stove issues is a dirty stove. It's more than just cleaning the burnpot and glass. Read the manual, its not just for show. January 3, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy it. I purchased this stove in Nov. 2014 and it worked for 2 days then I had to clean it. It started working again but when I bought another brand of pellets it stopped working. Don't waste your money on this model. February 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent stove, poor ergonomics I have owned this stove for 2+ years and it has mostly been pretty good for me. I have had the hopper clog a couple times putting the stove out of commission until I had time to dismantle it. My primary complaint is the ergonomics of the stoves construction. The stove requires regular maintenance which means you will need to dismantle most of the parts every so often. The access holes for the bolts do not line up indicating sloppy manufacturing and rendering the access slot unusable. My other main complaint is the motor mount. Too small of a mounting plate was used putting the bolts too close the main mounting bracket, meaning you cannot use any socket set when dismantling this stove. November 20, 2012
