Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jose Poor Quality Control at this price point
To start off the although the design of the combustion chamber is great the Quality control issues makes it flaw and meat will not cook evenly. There is a big square (about 1 sq inch) hole at the top and at the bottom where the doors join letting the smoke and heat escape, also there larger door does not sit flush with the frame there is actually about a 1/4 of an inch separation between the 2. To top it off In less than a month is starting to gather rust. For a grill at this price to many quality issues do your self a favor and get something else. I will be returning this to HD as soon as I can find a buddy to lift all 250lbs of grill it and transport it back to the store.

I'm far from a good cook. But you can over cook food by 20 degrees and it's still moist!

after a lot of research over last year on pellet grills, the Englander looked to be the best buy over their competition.the ability to cook hamburgers on it like a charcoal grill and steaks turn out great. I have owned this for two weeks and cooked my first brisket on it which turned out very good, ribs on the fourth.heavy built machine, made in the usa. highly recommend!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LimpBrisketBBQTeam Best smoker I've owned
I've been smoking meats for a very long time and never had anything other than the standard box store grill/smoker so this is a huge upgrade for me. After saying this is the smoker I want for over a year my wife got me one in March of 2016. I wanted something easy to use that would still give me good wood flavor but after a lot of research all I found about pellet smokers was they were not good for searing and I would need another grill in order to sear until I came across this one. I can say that I have seared burgers, steaks, and chicken on this grill better than any other grill I've ever had. I also love that i can do slow cooks between 225 and 240 for 12+ hours without having to babysit coals. This smoker is set and forget. I cook on my smoker 3-5 times per week and it works like a charm. I've been to competitions and the closest pellet smoker I've seen to compare it to is the Yoder but IMO for what you get this is a much better deal. The grill is made of heavy gauge steel and you can tell by the welds and bends in the metal this company takes quality very seriously. The only drawback I have had with this smoker is the lack of accesories and the paint. When I received my smoker it was if the paint wasn't cured. You could still smell a very strong paint odor and it would scratch if you ran your finger nail across it. After completing the cure and then several more cooks the paint has now set and I don't have this issue but the damage had already been done. They do send a can of paint for touchups which is nice but I would expect the paint to be cured when I received it.. Still, even with the paint issue I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I hope Englander continues to stay in the smoker market and starts developing some accesories. A warming blanket to use in cold temperatures and a cover will be great to start out with ;)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kshunterharry A great pellet grill !!
The grill is well built and was easy to assemble. I have cooked about everything imaginable on it with no problems. It holds the temperature well. It doesn't quite put out the heavy smoke as I expected but still work well. You can fill this think with pellets, set your temperature and walk away !!!!!!! It will burn all night and more on a single load of pellets.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SmokinJoe Love this thing!
I had a Traeger Jr Elite which was fine, but just too small. Bought this and have not looked back since. Takes a little getting used to the different cooking zones in the smoker but once you get that down you are off to the races. It holds plenty of pellets for overnight cooking with the 18lb hopper. I have had no problems with it to speak of. I have owned the smoker for 3 months and have cooked well over 200lbs of meat in it. Photo shows the inside of the smoker with Boston Butts.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stephen when it worked it was great.
I've had this grill for 6 months now and it hasn't worked for about 2 months now. I keep going back and forth with the manufacturer replacing different parts. First it was my outlet, then it was the fan, then it was the control board. Now it's something else. It is extremely aggravating and I regret not buying the big green egg.
