The envirotile quality is so totally random for the clip usage , the clip should be redesigned so it can hold the tiles together without the need for a moulded insertion areas. In order for the current clips to work with the out of control manufacturing methods used to make the envirotile, they need to have a positive locking mechanism so the clips do not slip out of the slotted moulded area on the back of the tile. All of the tiles I received for my project had to be trimmed on the bottom perimeter of the tile with a razor knife. I rated the clip "poor" mainly because they do not work with the tiles due to the tiles are not produced correctly.

Often very difficult to engage due varying widths of the tiles and once engaged do not hold. Walking and even expansion and contraction form temperature changes cause clips to disengage and the tiles will separate or a corner will not be level with adjacent tile.

These clips really help to keep the tiles laying squarely for a better fit and look.

I've found it difficult to make a strong, permanent link between the rubber pavers using these little clips. If I could miniaturize myself and crawl under the pavers, I could perhaps insert them properly and lastingly in the slots the pavers contain. The pavers themselves are great, but the method of connecting them permanently is yet waiting to be invented.

The clips are designed to slip into the grooves of the tiles, but there's no retention that is they did not "snap" into place, and I broke a number using the recommended mallet to "hammer" the clips in place. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the clips are uniform dimensionally while the tiles can vary by up to a 1/4 inch.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Scotts Connectors worked very well!
The connectors worked very well for us. We didn't realize the instructions inside the package recommended only using them along the perimeter as we were using them on every tile. We continued the way we were using them as we feel our tiles aren't going to go anywhere. Best method was I sat on the ground and lined everything up and then my husband stood on the tiles to pop them in place on the connectors. Each of our tiles is secured by at least 6 connectors so by 8 which can be challenging to get all of them to line up just right.

The clips don't fit the product they're designed for. If youndongeltbhem connected, they're too thick and lift the tiles where they're located.

These clips are necessary to mount the tiles. They could be shaped better, in order to be slightly "locked" in the corresponding tile hole. Personally, I put the clips everywhere (for each tile) on a superficy of about 200 squre feet. It strengthens the whole set.
