Product Overview

Made in North America from 100% recycled rubber, Envirotile has saved approximately 3 million tires from being sent to the landfill. Due to the nature of recycled materials, the rubber will vary from tread to tread. This variance results in each tread being naturally unique in color. Envirotile Stair Treads are the ideal resurfacing solution to renew, restore and resurface many outdoor flooring spaces. Designed to look like concrete pavers but has the ease of a do-it-yourself application. Lightweight and portable, you can place Envirotile Stair Treads directly on top of any existing flat surface.

  • For use on porch steps, concrete, balconies and more to create a beautiful space
  • Each stair tread weighs approximately 6 lbs making it light enough to carry by hand, heavy enough to stay put in place
  • Recycled rubber stair treads are noise absorbing and anti-fatigue
  • Stair Treads are weather and frost resistant and do not have to be removed during the winter
  • Non-skid and impact absorbing
  • Easy DIY installation
  • $3.59/ sq. ft. equivalent

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 27 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, But these are slightly rounded and buyer should note this. Would have given these a 5 star rating, but rounded edges, and limited sizing kept them at 4 stars....They definitely look better than the before! July 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful product. I love these. I put them on my deck steps to help with slipping and so I wouldn't have to restain and they are wonderful. I'm thinking about doing my entire deck. April 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great solution! Easy to install, durable product, soft on the bare feet. One problem, we ordered grey. They look grey online. They are definitely BLACK. Do not order grey because they seriously look like recycled tires. Should have ordered terracotta. Bummer. I will next time as I will be a repeat customer. We have a balcony set on a roof so just roofed and tarred underneath then laid these down. My husband said it was easier and best to cut with a box cutter rather than a saw. He tried first with a table saw and it really slowed it down so some other saw, maybe a jigsaw would be better but he only had to cut 9 of them so no biggie. Did it all in one afternoon. Looks great! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for covering the deck's wooden steps We placed the treads on the steps and since the steps were wider than the treads, in between the front and the back of each step. To be on the safe side, we then screwed the treads in place with two screws in the back of each tread. Although "slippery" at first probably because of the oil coming up from the treads, the treads are not slippery and provide great traction when going up or down the deck stairs. I can't comment on their adhesion in the snow because we haven't had any snow this year. But I do expect the increase in traction when it does snow. October 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great quality :) First, I originally purchased these due to ice forming on my back steps....hoped that these would help. They did not, which is my fault not the product. Water can form and freeze on these just like a cement step (note: not as easily but can still happen) & I didn't realize that until the weather changed. Here is what I can say about the product, though...Quality is excellent, very thick and even in bad weather they will not slip or slide on your concrete steps. Heavy enough that when you spray them off with a hose, they don't move and stay put! I didn't remember reading that they are reversible, which was an added feature for me. Worth the money in the long-run and glad I purchased them. January 14, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for specific applications This product served quite well but cutting it was a challenge. Finally found a hack saw was the best tool. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good safey product Easy to install - my use.... for steps leading from house into garage. The steps are now more stable and less slippery. considering that they may get wet during winter weather. Nice looking product. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great! They do the job - covered my front steps nicely and provide good grip, and look very nice. They're heavy so they stay put and don't slide. Since they're so heavy I had to drag them out of the car to the steps but putting them on the steps was super easy. September 23, 2014
