We had previously bought the smaller tiles to cover a brick patio and were now looking for something to cover an old set of concrete steps. My husband came up with this idea of framing the tiles in with composite lumber. These tiles worked great as they were bigger and we liked the gray color. They cut well to fit and the extra pieces I used as stair treads on the wooden deck steps. The color is a nice dark gray and are solid without any design. They clean easily as I spray on Simple Green and then hose off. It did take a few weeks to be delivered and Home Depot had no sample to look at in the store. We took a chance and really are pleased with the results.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by pete very disappointed
I was disappointed that I had to trim every single tile. All of the slag left from molding was left. They were also not all made out of the same molding leading to inconsistencies in the surface area. This was a problem when measuring the surface needing to be covered and the tiles not matching those measurements. I had to clean all of the slag off to make it work.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hobbist heavy duty
I installed these pads under by trash cans. They are heavy duty, I just levered the ground a little and layed in place. they look nice and prevent having a mud puddle when it rains. I did not try to connect the two pieces together in anyway, the connectors do not come with the set of two pads and they seemed prohibitively expense to me.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Felipe Excellent product, if a bit pricey
I installed these on my large condo balcony as the existing boards were in poor cosmetic condition. Installation was very easy, though cutting them a bit tricky. I tried Skillsaw, jigsaw, hand hacksaw, & hand woodsaw. The jigsaw was the least difficult but it's very difficult to control its cutting path with rubber as compared with wood or metal so my lines were not very straight LOL! The surface is springy (great for barefeet), though does heat up in sunshine. Looks great. All in all, I'm very happy with this project other than that these tiles seemed to me to be expensive, especially given the surcharge for shipping costs.

I've bought these three times in the past year as I've taken out the concrete from my patio. They may not be as beautiful as stone, but they hold up great and look just fine. The main reason I love them, though, is because the ground doesn't have to be perfectly flat before you set them down.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Gabe It is a great product for water exposed areas
I got these tiles for my basement. They provide a great area for play and are resistant to water damage which could be the case no matter what you do in trying to prevent this. Installation was a task for some overqualified people. Size difference up to a 1/4 " make it more of a puzzle game than just installation.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hawk Very dissapointed
I am very disappointed with the product. For starters the item is very expensive, however the perk is that it will last pretty much forever. But the perk does not out weigh the big problem with the product; they are not the same size. The product is designed to be clipped together, which is ideal, but some of the tiles are between 1/8” and ¾’” smaller or bigger. Thus the tiles do not line up and look very nice. I spent over $500 on this product and I am extremely disappointed. I regret my purchase. I wish I went with the normal tiles.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DavidaTN Excellent solution for fixing second-level decking
I chose this product to cover the stable, but splintering, deck surface of my second-level deck. The tiles were easy to work with and cut surprisingly easy with a utility knife. But, like other reviewers, I was disappointed that the tiles themselves weren't quite square and created gaps between some of the tiles. Ordering the tiles online I had hoped the shipped tiles would all be from the same color lot. Nope, 13 of the 48 I ordered were more red than the expected terra cotta color - so I laid the odd ones in a checkerboard pattern - hoping the sun will eventually even out the color. I'm going to try a few creatively placed tile clips to close up the gaps and call it done. If you're not looking for magazine-shoot perfection, this product is a good solution.
