Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Felipe Excellent product, if a bit pricey
I installed these on my large condo balcony as the existing boards were in poor cosmetic condition. Installation was very easy, though cutting them a bit tricky. I tried Skillsaw, jigsaw, hand hacksaw, & hand woodsaw. The jigsaw was the least difficult but it's very difficult to control its cutting path with rubber as compared with wood or metal so my lines were not very straight LOL! The surface is springy (great for barefeet), though does heat up in sunshine. Looks great. All in all, I'm very happy with this project other than that these tiles seemed to me to be expensive, especially given the surcharge for shipping costs.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hawk Very dissapointed
I am very disappointed with the product. For starters the item is very expensive, however the perk is that it will last pretty much forever. But the perk does not out weigh the big problem with the product; they are not the same size. The product is designed to be clipped together, which is ideal, but some of the tiles are between 1/8” and ¾’” smaller or bigger. Thus the tiles do not line up and look very nice. I spent over $500 on this product and I am extremely disappointed. I regret my purchase. I wish I went with the normal tiles.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Casey Envirotile Used on Outdoor Porch
These are rubber tiles made from recycled tires. They are quite heavy and seem like they will withstand wear and tear and weather well, but I have only had them for a short time. Though the tiles are relatively easy to lay there are two caveats. First, they are not all perfectly square so you will get some gaps between tiles. I have no issue with this but some may find it bothersome. Second, I strongly recommend using a jig saw for cutting the tiles. A box cutter or carpet knife can cut these tiles, but you will find it very difficult. I used these tiles on a screened porch. The other option was to paint the concrete. I think the Envirotile was a much better way to go. It looks good and gives a much softer surface that is much more comfortable on the feet than concrete.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DavidaTN Excellent solution for fixing second-level decking
I chose this product to cover the stable, but splintering, deck surface of my second-level deck. The tiles were easy to work with and cut surprisingly easy with a utility knife. But, like other reviewers, I was disappointed that the tiles themselves weren't quite square and created gaps between some of the tiles. Ordering the tiles online I had hoped the shipped tiles would all be from the same color lot. Nope, 13 of the 48 I ordered were more red than the expected terra cotta color - so I laid the odd ones in a checkerboard pattern - hoping the sun will eventually even out the color. I'm going to try a few creatively placed tile clips to close up the gaps and call it done. If you're not looking for magazine-shoot perfection, this product is a good solution.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by jimbo30 A total disaster
We bought these tiles to cover a deck floor. We worked two days trying to align them without gaps. It was impossible. The tiles varied in size and the clips did not fit the slots. I am disappointed in the product and Home Depot for marketing them.I really like Home Depot in every other way.We are returning them.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by papagoom Be forwarned!! Tiles are not exact sizes,
Great idea, recycled tires. Installation is somewhat easy. The big problem is these tiles are not sized perfectly, actually not even close in size so if you are looking for a nice straight or somewhat straight pattern do not use these tiles.
Complained to store manager, he went out of his way to help me resolve this issue. The mfg refused to do anything about this. The mfg used the old "they are not supposed to be even sizes" excuse. I would not reccomend this product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NancyM good product, sizing a little different than expected
Love the product, but a little disappointed in the sizing. Not exactly 18 inches, more like 17 3/4. Some pieces fit better if they were turned the other direction. Had to adjust the layout to accommodate the difference in size. Easy to cut with a jigsaw, but better to put in the extra effort and use a utility knife with a straight edge. Gave me a better finish, but took a little more muscle. Just did a small area this time, will do a large deck next year.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by marge Easy to work with
I love these! I haven't finished the entire placement yet, but it's going to improve the look of my covered back porch tremendously. I previously had outdoor carpet and after discovering it was impossible to pull up completely to have the best work surface, I decided on this product so it could be put down on top of the carpet. I tried to find as many reviews as possible about these tiles and there just weren't many, but I took a chance and am really glad. I did decide to order more clips after the previous reviews proved true - the tiles are not all exactly the same and using more clips help square off intersections that need it. I will probably use one or two clips on every tile just to keep them lined up because using them just on the perimeter as suggested is not keeping them lined up properly. I am very happy with the look!
