Product Overview

Envirotile is made with 100% recycled rubber, produced from car and truck tires; over 1 million tires are diverted from the landfill each year. An environmentally-friendly product that is the ideal re-surfacing solution to renew, restore and resurface many outdoor and indoor flooring spaces. Resurface old, worn, cracked floors in a snap. Designed to look like concrete pavers but has the ease of a do-it-yourself application, no contractor required. Lightweight and portable, you can place envirotile directly on top of any existing flat surface; i.e. wood, concrete, patio tiles. Envirotile will not warp, crack, peel, chip or crumble. If you want to secure the tiles together, connector clips are sold separately. Size and weight are approximate.

Customer Reviews

18 in. x 18 in. Flat Profile, Grey (4-Pack)-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad Quality is pretty good, tiles vary in size a bit which is a pain. Having to pay extra for the clips makes you hesitate about whether you really need them. They do help but it depends on your particular installation. I bought 172 of them and they showed up on two skids and were rather poorly packaged. Pray you don't have to deal with Estes Trucking for your delivery. I wanted the 24" tiles but they weren't available any time soon so I got the 18". I don't know why they don't just sell them in the store, you can get the ones that look like brick in the store but not the flat ones, which are better at not collecting dirt and leaves.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I liked the idea of tire recycling, My customer liked the finished product but the tiles were not true in size, differ over a 1/4 inch.We ran all the same way and trimmed tiles as needed. Shipping almost doubles the instore price. Not sure if I can recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is great around my hot. Tub I set this product around my hot tub and it is great. A non slip product plus keeps feet dry when stepping out of tub.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color is inaccurate The tiles were not gray at all as advertised...they are black and get extremely hot, even with moderate sunshine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Solution These tiles offer a solution to a number of problems such as cracked concrete floors, weathered decking and annual maintenence. The slip resistance is a major advantage. In my case they were used to resurface a screen enclosed roofed over deck. You will be in for a good deal of work as the tiles are not perfectly square and have may have excess rubber proturding from the bottom during moulding. This can be removed with sissors or trauma shears.. You will also find a flat wood rasp or sure form file helpful. For cutting tiles a saber (jig) saw works very well. A razor knife takes way too many repeat cuts. I found that using the installation instructions helped in initial grid set up but the variations in tile size will not allow perfect allignment. In my case I found the best solution was to set the tiles as square as possibly and then to secure them with 1.25" bradnails. Be sure to use enought air pressure to set the heads below the tile surface. Once a corner is nailed you can use your foot to stretch the tile slightly to achiever a fit that is closer to square. The final result is worth the effort. One last recommendation is to be sure that your deck boards are not butted tightly together as moisture build up below the tile will promote rotting even in pressure treated lumber.
