I laid down Envirotiles as a base for my new Softub, and they look nice and work well for my purpose. The borders finish the job nicely, and fit together reasonably well. Since the ground varies slightly in my application, the tiles and borders don't lay completely flat, but it still works pretty well and looks good to me. I am still waiting for the corner pieces to come back in stock online. Right now I only have the straight borders, not the curved corner pieces.

I purchased the envirotiles because our second floor condo balcony was chipping. We live in Michigan (just survived the second worst winter on record) and wanted to spruce up the outside. Purchased the tiles at the store and fitting them but had a 2" space between the door wall and last run. I thought this would be the perfect finishing touch. What a piece of garbage. They are flimsy plastic non matching color pcs. that arrived all scratched up. They are going back today but what really makes me mad is that I had end pcs. that I tossed I could have used as filler. The tiles are great but I suspect any company that would sell this.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Badbart The tiles that the straight edge borders are used with are terrible
The straight edge borders are meant to be used with Envirotile's 18"x18" rubber tiles. The 18" tiles I had measured anywhere from 18 1/8" to 17 9/16". It was rare to find to edge to edge measurements on the same tile that were the same. Also the edges were not straight - some were concave, some convex. There is no way to install these tiles without gaps showing between them. I would never use anything from this company again and was surprised to find that Home Depot would carry a product that has such poor workmanship and obviously no quality control.

Looks kind of flimsy but works, and is too expensive for a piece of plastic in my opinion and it will crack
