Product Overview

Made from 100% recycled rubber, Envirotile has saved approximately 3 million tires from being sent to the landfill. Due to the nature of recycled materials, the tire rubber will vary from tile to tile. This variance results in each tile's naturally unique color as well as size, equaling up to 1/4 in. size difference from tile to tile. Envirotile is a floating floor system with a patented clipping system (sold separately) that provides the ease of a do-it-yourself application. These tiles can be installed on top of any existing hard surface such as wood, concrete and patio tiles. The floating floor system is an investment; it is simple to pick up your tiles and move them to another location.

  • For use on balconies, patios, rooftops, decks, child play areas and more to create a beautiful floor
  • Each tile weighs approximately 8 lbs., making it light enough to carry by hand but heavy enough to stay put in place
  • Recycled rubber tiles are noise absorbing and anti-fatigue
  • Tiles are weather and frost resistant and do not have to be removed during the winter
  • Non-skid and impact absorbing
  • Easy DIY installation using patented connector clips, see installation guide and video for step-by-step instructions
  • Size variance, rotating the tiles side by side to find the best fit will help to alleviate variance issues
  • $3.55/ sq. ft. equivalent

Answer:
18 feet = 12 pavers. 8 feet = 5 pavers plus a 1 foot piece.
12 times 5 equals 60 pavers plus 5 more for last foot. Total 65 pavers or 16 cases plus 1 extra paver.

Answer:
yes. If concerned about mildew you can either that them up to dry out the area underneath, pour bleach in the seams every year or so. Be sure the tiles are linked together to prevent shifting in the garage.

Answer:
Being that these are made from recycled tires and are intended to be used outside, I do not see an issue. Neither the tiles nor the concrete should mildew as they are non-organic.

Answer:
Each tile covers an area of 1.5 x 1.5 feet. Divide 18 feet by 1.5 and you get 12. So you need 12 rows of 12 or 144 tiles. 4 tiles per case. 144 divided by 4 is 36 cases. 36 times the 31.99 per case equals $1151.64 before tax. You would have to compare that to other floor/patio/walkway covering to see if that is reasonable for you.

Answer:
This is a hard question to answer because I don't know what 18 represents if your area is 18 in X 18 in then you need only 1, if your area is 18 ft X 18 ft then you will need 130, if your area is 18 yrd X 18 yrd then you will need 1167, if your area is 18 meters X 18 meters then you will need 1403. So until I know what 18 represents I have no Idea how many you will need to cover it.

Answer:
9 feet divided by 1.5 ft. per tile is 6 tiles wide. 12 feet divided by 1.5 feet is 8 tiles long. the tiles can be cut with a jigsaw or by scoring repeatedly with a utility knife and flexing at the seam made.
So
6 x 8 = 48 tiles
If you are starting in the center of the room to get equal pieces at each end of the 13 feet, with Bella Rocca you can get (2) 6 inch pieces from each tile to finish each side

If you are starting in the center of the room to get equal pieces at each end of the 13 feet, with Bella Rocca you can get (2) 6 inch pieces from each tile to finish each side off. 9 feet is 6 tiles wide so you need (12) 6 inch pieces. That is 6 tiles. Add it all up 48 plus 6 = 54 tiles or 13.5 cases. The tiles are available at my HD store individually or by the case. so 13 cases plus 2 tiles. You will need the same number if you just start at one end of the 9ft area and go across, you will just have a 12 inch piece at the end.

Answer:
You would need 13 cases and 2 single tiles, 6 of the tiles will need to be cut down by 6 inches. Each case will cover a 3 ft x 3ft or 1 square. 9 ft x 12 ft is 12 squares, you will need another 6 tiles to make up the extra foot - thus 12 cases + 1 case and 2 singles.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Great. We will see..... Colors between tiles don't match well. Quite a few divots and deep blemishes in the pattern. Hope they hold up. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The finished product looks really nice First off the finished product looks really nice on my back patio. The only down fall is we actually needed a saw to cut the rubber because we tried using two different utility knives used to cut rubber but those did not work very well Also the rubber pavers were uneven which left a few spaces in-between even when the clips were used. Other than that overall I like the look of my patio. September 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful but a little sloppy re installation These tiles are very attractive and I love that they are made from recycled materials. The rubber feels great on the feet. Not sure if the install was the result of my contractor's carelessness or not, but the tiles don't seem to lie flat if you put them on the ground outside. I had a compacted sand foundation installed beneath, then the tiles go on top. They just flop right on top and aren't secured. The clips keep them somewhat stable, but you can really just pick the tiles right up. Maybe a better foundation or some sort of sealing cement would have been better for install? Just not sure. They also don't appear to align very flush; sand is always coming up through the cracks. These are little nitpicky things - really nice looking tiles. August 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money The product seems great in theory but it just is not worth the effort. Save your money and don't buy the clips. They are difficult to connect and add very little value September 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Patio Solution I had a patio that was cracked and ugly looking, I tried traditional ceramic tile but they cracked and broke to the point that it looked worse than when I started, do we saw these eco-friendly recycled material from used tires Terra Cota pavers and laid them down and they looked great. The weight alone holds them in place but I purchased the easy to install clips to hold them together. Product was everything I hoped for and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Durable product We bought these at the store years ago and put down on dirt (NM sand) using clips, and we are very pleased with the durability, design, color, and ease of installation. They are truly indestructible in the hot NM sun, cold temps, heavy snow, ice, rains and floods.. August 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great pavers This is very durable product. Love the color. I wish they offered this product in the store like they did when I purchased this product several years ago. It's too bad you have to now order the product online. July 5, 2016
