Customer Questions & Answers

How is this applied to established (3-4 foot) trees in pots?

Is what's inside the bag dissolved in water and watered in? Or, is this worked into the surface soil around the trunk as a granular solid?
Asked by: Seamus
Fertilize the trees every two months. Spread it around the trees in a circle equal to the outside size of the plant.

Is this recommended for mango trees?

Asked by: Blackdog
I was wondering the same thing myself. The only info that I found is that the Espoma website says, "Ideal for Citrus, Fruit, and Nut Trees"

Trees over 9 feet

I have a 25 foot avocado tree. The package specifies that "9+ Feet" trees take one full 8lbs bag. I assume at some point, a scale has to take over for trees that are much higher than 9 feet. Should I use just one 8lbs bag, or two+ 8lb bags?

Both plants would have plenty of flowers but would not hold any fruits. The fruits would turn black and drop off when they were very small. The people at a nursery advised me to cut down on water to the plants. But no effect. Then I tried this fertilizer. Now I have abundant fruits and I did not need to cut down on water either. This fertilizer has worked well for my citrus plants and I will always use it. Use it every two months through out the year.
