Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by coffeelover I love it, it makes wonderful machiados
It is worthy every penny, great value.
I love my esspresos and machiados
The only thing is you need to be careful to not put too much coffee in the serving size cup bacause it will leak and make a mess.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Christina I'm in love with my espresso machine!
There hasn't been a day since it's arrival that I have not used the Minuetto. Very easy to use in my book. I love the creme that develops when I pull a fresh espresso! Very rich, delicious espresso without a burnt taste that you can get from the steam driven machines. The frothing arm did not seem to be that powerful when I first used it, but I have been used to the steam driven machines. I can get a lovely froth whether I am using milk or my homemade soy milk. Clean up is easy, which I always do as soon as I am done brewing.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. The price was right, it's well designed and does what it's supposed to do! I would highly recommend the Minuetto to anyone looking for an espresso machine!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jack Keeping it but in a do-over I'd look at others more carefully
Makes really good coffee, really fast, but I wish I had looked more carefully at the competition. Though at the price of $150, I doubt I could have done better, so I am working around my problems and "learning to like it".
From a cold start, it heats up to operating temperature in less than 1.5 minutes and will deliver good coffee in seconds more. But the motor for the water pump vibrates so much I must hold the metal cup I use to catch the brew or it will wander. I use that cup because my favorite mug is too tall to fit; 3 5/8" is the max. clearance.
Be careful when you empty the spent grounds or they will spill. The coffee filter drains very slowly when not under pressure. But when you spill, clean-up is easy with the removable drip tray.
The milk steamer made a big mess when I tried it but I don't use it any more. I use the milk steamer tin cup to catch the coffee and heat my milk in the microwave and whip it with a battery whipper, then add the coffee to the milk. Kind of backwards but it tastes good to me.
So - I'm learning to like it and keeping it, especially since it looks great and makes a super fast, super good latte.
I did not rate energy efficiency as I cannot measure or compare but it is probably pretty good as the outside of the unit doesn't heat up and and it works fast.
