This bad boy does what it's supposed to do. Used it to pull some nails out of a subfloor. I have a wonder bar that I'd normally use but my father in-law insisted I have one of these. It works a lot better for the application. Every time we came across a nail that needed to come out we argued over who got to use the tool next.

Pulls nails like it was designed to do. Claw configuration, size and angle works good on both ends and allows for pulling nails in tight corners- even has a flat that works as a small hammer to tack in loose or proud fasteners, making it unnecessary to reach for the hammer. Good addition to the tool belt.

Used this for removing/replacing all nails from joist hangars on deck I was repairing (original deck builder didn't even use galvanized nails and most were rusting.) That's several hundred nails. I shudder to think of trying to do it without this nail puller. It was still a tedious and time consuming process, but this puller made it feasible. I hammered and hammered and hammered on it and it took all I gave it and is still in very usable shape. Definitely got my money's worth already. Highly recommended.

this product needs a handle for large hands, too small felt like toothpick in hand. took it back and got a larger one.

I normally love Estwing products. I have 2 of their 20 oz rip hammers but this was a piece of garbage. The first time I used it the claw bent. I don't think that is supposed to happen to a piece of hardened steel. I'm pretty sure this isn't manufactured in the states.
