Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hammer Nothing is better than a East Wing. It is exactly what I wanted to buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best hammers on the market When it comes to hammers, there is no better name in the business than Estwing. When you lift one up off the shelf the quality of the build and feel in the hand is the only thing you need to know you are handling a product that can last you a life time. I own three Estwing hammers of different weights and do not need any others. THe leather handle just makes this a better feeling hammer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from handle what was Estwing thinking making the handles so large on this style of hammer. I've got large hands an still it doesn't feel right when used

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A magnificent hammer If you appreciate your tools as much as you enjoy using them, this is the best hammer ever. Traditional styling and impeccable quality. I can't attest to day-to-day comfort or durability for the constructor, but for the home craftsman it's a tool to cherish. I will eventually have all of Estwing's leather-handled tools, just because they're so nice. (You will need some adhesive remover solvent to get the three labels off.) If you're considering a gift for someone, this is unbeatable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made in America Made in USA is what you want when buying a tool. They work better, last longer, and your dollars are spent giving your neighbor a job. American tools built the old America we loved. Use American tools to bring it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hammer The leather is much better than the rubber handle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save your thumbs! Made in the USA. There is something that you notice when using an Eastwing hammer, that ping sound when you hit the nail solidly. I was using an old, made in China hammer, and the head was constantly slipping off the side of the nail and smashing my thumb. I finally got fed up and went to Home Depot and bought myself an Eastwing. My thumb can't thank me enough! I've yet to have it slip and I've probably driven over 500 nails since. The handle is comfortable, it is well balanced and it just feels solid. This hammer also drives nails extremely quickly and does an excellent job of transferring the power from your swing through the nail body. Every garage in America deserves an Eastwing hammer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, but rings like a bell This is a great looking, quality hammer that you'll use for your whole life and then pass on to one of your kids...but the one I bought rings like a bell each time I strike a nail. It's much more annoying than you think it would be. I'm going to exchange it to see if it's just mine of if they all do that.
