Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for the job As a professional mason this framing hammer is a cement finisher's best friend for the prep and after stages. Built tough to withstand the harshness of a jobsite. I use it regulary to pound duplex nails into forms with perfect ease and rarely bend the nail. The forged back end of the shank is perfect for setting 2x's forms on the fly for quick adjustments. When the job is done and its time to strip the forms you can use the backside of the hammer to scrape the forms in seconds. Wham Bam job completed with another awesome Estwing tool... Just a tip, engrave your hammer because other tradesmen will attempt to steal this for their personal arsenal June 15, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Tool The shark tooth added a weapon to the arsenal of our workers, without adding an additional tool. January 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nailed It!!!! Now this is a hammer you can fall in love with. You don't even realize you using 24oz of metal. You can use it all day and not feel the burn. July 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best Product forever it is good product and very easy to use also. i love this product August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Old faithful I've owned two of these, left the first one on the back of my truck, and I'm sure some lucky person found it because I couldn't. Went and bought another one to replace it, and have had it for 11 years now. Its made for framing, and the added stud pryer works like a charm. Do not use it for cut nails, or it will ruin the "waffle" head, but any waffle head hammer will get messed with cut nails. Great Framing hammer though! September 20, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The hook end is Awesome The hammer has a hook end that is great for twisted studs. The hammer has a great feel when used to drive nails in and feels good in the hands. Nice and practical tool that be in every carpenters bag. May 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hammertooth Estwing I've been using this hammer in my framing belt for the past 8 months and it has got a lot of use. I really do enjoy using the hammer; the weight and balance is nice and absorbs shock well. Even through all the twisting and abuse the hammer has stayed true. Now my one complaint is that the tooth gets stuck in your belt and also gets in the way a little when pulling boards apart. For straightening twisted boards in a wall it is a great asset though.
