Bought the hammer for driving 24" rebar through drilled 4" landscaping timbers for a garden border and for later use regarding general blacksmithing. It worked flawlessly for driving the rebar, but I have yet to use it for blacksmith work so I cannot review that aspect of it yet.

Needed a replacement mini sledge hammer and this one caught my eye. Well built and should last a long time.

This is a great hammer! I use it to free stuck metal parts, and the flat face does a good job. The other face does a great job providing concentrated force. The fiberglass handle is durable, and the hammer head is well made. The epoxy bond between the head and handle looks well made. This is a great hammer for a great price! By the way, I have the old one without the rubber grip, but quality should be the same.

So I purchased the 40 oz hammer in hopes that it will help me bend and fabricate a couple bumper mounting brackets for my truck. It worked great. Bigger isnt always better. No vibrations. ODIN! Excuse me. It just works that good!

Not quite sure what to write. It's a hammer! Used mine to break up concrete in the floor to re-run plumbing waste lines. Worked just fine in this application. Small enough to swing in a fairly confined space, and heavy enough to pack some punch. Can envision using this to drive stakes or drive a brick chisel. If you are looking for a decent "Hand Sledge" this could very well be the one for you. Hope this helps
