Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bobeeee Does as advertised
Bought this pump to replace 1 of 3 existing pumps in the basement of multi unit condos. This pump does what it's supposed to do without the noise or the heat of the other 2 pumps. The only thing you hear is the water as it's being pumped out. The other 2 existing pumps sound like a washing machine when they come out. This is important to me because the units are under several condos and could be heard by all. I'll be replacing the remaining 2 soon with these.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jpm Hope this ejector pump lasts a long time
The last ejector pump I bought from Home Depot didn't last five months and it went out. I couldn't bring it back because it was over a year that I had bought it. My ejector pump went out and it was the cord unhooking itself, so I kept the new pump I bought in the box for future replacement. When my pump went bad I replaced it with new one I had bought from Home Depot and it crapped out later not even six months of use.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ifixalot1 Cycles too often, it's going back today.
This is, IMHO, a Chinese knockoff of a USA made pump.
It's even a similar color to the USA made pump.
However, since HD stores only carry these, and I need a new one, I thought I'd give it a try.
The float is too long. This causes it to have only a couple inches of travel between on and off.
Thus the water gets up to 6 or so inches and then the pump kicks on and in about 2-3 seconds,
it pumps down to 3 inches and shuts off. I'm afraid this short cycling will wear out the switch.
This might be ok if you have a wide sump but mine is 16 inches wide.
Another thing is these pumps need to be in the water to be cooled. With so much of the pump
out of the water, I wonder if the motor will get hot during heavy use periods like during a storm.
Yes, it has a 5 year warranty but you have to ship it in to have it serviced.
I'd rather not keep it to see how long or short it lasts.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jonosay Best pump I have used yet.
Works just as expected and better. Quiet operation and fast. Only concern I have is that the inlet is not filtered in any way with a screen or the like and the opening is large enough to pull in small rocks. In the first week of using it, it pulled one in and jammed causing it to overheat and stick on. Once I figured out what was going on, removed the rock and modified the surface of the pit to (added a flower pot base to cover the gravel bottom), it has worked like nothing even happened. A couple of months later in the rainiest season we have had in a while and it is still running like new with no problems.
