I want to store my 2 kayaks above my car in the garage. I would need two 6' lengths of the 14 gauge slotted angle to hold up my kayaks side by side. The 14 gauge slotted angle would be supported at each end from the ceiling. Total weight of 2 kayaks is 52 pounds. If this is not the right equipment needed for my project, would you please advise as to what to use. Thanks!

Answer:
I am unable to find what the weight limit is for the slotted angle, but here is a better solution. Click link below--this can hold 125 lbs.
