Is this material water-proof/anti-rust?

The bar is made of steel. The zinc coating will mitigate the rusting but will be consumed as it does. When the zinc gone, the steel will begin to rust.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not for bracing garage door track. Was told to use this for the end bracing for the garage door framework. After opening the doors once and then closing them, the angle piece holding the spring bent. Will have to find something thicker to replace this piece.
