Keep in mind that Grade 304 stainless steel is typically NOT for outdoor exposure. People think "stainless" means that it won't corrode and that's not correct. Corrosion occurs but is controlled.
For outdoor exposure where you're typically going to have mild steel rusting away, you are better off to find Grade 316 stainless or better.
