1/2 in.-13 x 7 in. Galvanized Carriage Bolt

Ive been turning wrenches for 20 years and these are the worst bolts ive worked with. Less than a 1/4 of the box will fit a nut without snaping the bolt. I went through every bolt and you cant hand tighten barely half. Wild they sell this junk waste of my time

Used the Everbilt 3/8 in.-16 x 6 in. Galvanized Carriage Bolts to build a slipway to launch and retrieve our home built 20' LOA, 8' Beam ply on frame fiberglassed boat. These bolts act as transition pivots for the in water to ground frame of the slipway and have worked very well. Highly recommended for wet environments.

We purchased these Everbilt 1/2 in.-13 x 5 in. Galvanized Carriage Bolts to mount pneumatic wheels to a boat slipway we designed and built for our home-built 20 ft. LOA, 8 ft. Beam, ply on frame fiberglassed boat. The galvanized bolts, washers and nuts worked as well as expected. Highly recommended.

I purchased these Everbilt 1/4" galvanized carriage bolts for the purpose of rehabbing my utility trailer (please note pics are of project not yet finished). I also purchased matching Everbilt galvanized flat & lock washers & nuts. The Galvanized coating is smooth and complete (no globs like on some other brand's products that when knocked off leave non-galvanized surface exposed and corrode). My wallet greatly appreciates these and other related fasteners being offered in a bulk package which offers significant savings. I am a professional contractor who places value on quality and I highly recommend the entire Everbilt galvanized fastener line of products.

The galvanized coating is inconsistent, thin in some places and thick (chunks clogging the threads) in others (these findings are based on 2 of the 14 bolts that I bought, one had clogged threads, the other lost its coating when a nut was installed). I'll have to see how they work out before I can recommend them.

We used 4 Everbilt Carriage Bolts, washers and nuts, to hold the cross beams (2 at each end) of the gantry we built to lift, turn 90 degrees and flip our ply on frame 20 foot LOA boat hull we built in our backyard. The 625 pound hull and 100 pound gantry held together using these bolts. Highly recommended!!!

I use these bolts for the primary joints on my Adirondack chairs. Galvanized hardware is important for a durable outdoor chair due to the environment and the corrosive nature of pressure treated lumber. These bolts are the best of this type I've found. The coating is smooth and uniformly applied.
