Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MrMike Easy replacment for a failed pump (the switch)
These pumps are generally good for about 5 years in my application.
Look at the warranty on the box; is it 1, 2, 3, years...
Your mileage may vary. Depends on content of ground water and how often and how long it operates.
The usual 'failure mode' is the switch in my case. It either fails to activate the motor or deactivate it when the sump pit is empty.
Just wish the switch was available and easily replaceable.
This unit uses a float (probably with a magnet in it) that activates the electronic 'switch'. My local HD had the replacement switches in stock for this unit.
I'm not sure yet if that is a good or bad thing. Time will tell.
I also replaced the check valve and 4 clamps (about $10), the screws rust (the stainless parts are fine).
This is the easy disconnect part; all the original PVC stays in place and was reused.
ps - don't forget to drill a small hole (1/8") in the discharge line an inch or two up from the pump outlet. The motor is easier to start without the head pressure of the standing water in discharge line.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ron Product seems very good quality
Sump pump quality seems great and has a very good reputation. It has been running great for a week now. Feel free to ask me 10 years from now:)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TK Pump does its job, but is a little noisy
I bought this pump replaced my original .3 HP pump. It installed easily using 1-1/2" ABS pipe. It does its job, but I'm a little disappointed in how noisy it is. I can hear it operate on the second floor of my house. The float switch activates at a shallower depth than my old one, so it runs more often and I hear it more often. It isn't bad, but it is more noticeable than I'd like.
On the plus side, it draws relatively low power compared to some other models I looked at. The power is more than adequate to pump at roughly 10' of lift.
Given the noise level, I think it should be priced about $25 cheaper than its listed price of $150.

Pump is extremely loud. It pumps our good. Don't really recommend for the primary pump due to how noise it is.

We got this to use outside. So far it nice and quiet and getting the job done. The reason we chose this one is because it turns on less then 8 inches and off at at a little over two.

With any sump pump of this type you will never get any warnings that is not working till is too late, I bought the sump pump after my old one of 16 years of service stop working, I purchased this !/3 hp Everlast to replace my old one, easy to install, nice and compact I liked the switch system because it was a slider there is no way for this type of switch to get hung, compared to a tether float, but unfortunately after one to three month from installation it was not working, the slider float switch stop floating and and the pump ran it self to death from overheating, I was just over the 90 day Home Depot warranty, so it fell under manufacture warranty, its a sump pump, there is no time to deal with shipping, but Home Depot was kind to help me to purchase another brand at a discounted price, so I could deal with Everlast Pump during their working hours. Thanks for the Help Home Depot.
