Answer This Question

A:  It's not specific to manufacturers. You just have to verify the refrigerator requires a 1/4 connection, most do.

        Caution!!
These hoses are made in China, as are most stainless braided hoses. That doesn't automatically make them inferior, but quality control and reliability can be an issue. For the time being, I highly recommend you buy another brand for your 1/4" stainless braided hose. I bought two of the 10' Everbilt icemaker hoses and both had several minor kinks along the length which could lead to trouble down the road. It appears the current batch (May 2021) in the stores are inferior. My refrigerator and freezer connections are in the front, which is a nice feature, but there is not a lot of room (clearance height) for positioning the hose. As a tip, tape the hose to the floor, and you can even tie a nylon sting to the hose fitting to keep it in position when sliding the refrigerator / freezer into position. With these particular hoses, the braiding was very brittle and pieces of stainless flaked off during roll back due to slight friction. Braided hoses should be well built and easily last 10 years. Kinks and flaking should not be happening out of the box. These Everbilt hoses will be keeping me up at night until I decide to pull the refrigerator next week and replace them with something better (ugh). In the photos, I abandoned the water supply valve behind the units and added an accessible valve in the basement; that's why the hoses are routed through the floor.

Easy to install connector for refrigerators!
1/4 is usually the standard size to connect your refrigerator to the water aource. The 5’ length is perfect for you to be able to pull out your refrigerator and connect the line and have sufficient space to work

Did exactly what its supposed to, I'm a lisensed plumber and normally install hydro pro but this was cheaper. It's great make sure to snug with channel locks while making connections on install.

The hose is good, just didn't need the full 10 feet. I wish they had a small length.
