This might be obvious. Do I need tapes on both ends? I have an old line but it starts to leak at water supply once connected...maybe not enough tape or I will probably need to buy a new one.
Asked by: James
tape both ends. I taped mine, not overly so, but at least three or four times around. Then tightened it down with a cresent wrench, not hand tightened. No leaks.

Snapped the copper tubing that was connecting my refrig to the water line, found this instead of calling the plumber or buying copper tubing tools I would only use once. Easy-peasy to install, feels much more durable that the thin copper. Very pleased. Used teflon tape at the ends, no leaks on the first try. Highly recommend

We had years of battling with ice maker supply line leaks. After installing this line, it's been dry, dry under my fridge. Easy to install. The holes had to be redrilled slightly larger than what had been drilled for the original nylon line.
