Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Useless Product That Has No Place on Shelves Like another reader, no amount of leveling, back-boring or other unnecessary steps will make these casters work. They bind, they don't turn. Doesn't matter the surface. The manufacturer should be ashamed and Home Depot's product selection team advised. These should be taken off the shelf immediately. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Total Junk Complete JUNK. I didn't need much, so thought these would do the job of a plant platform to move a few feet here and there when cleaning around the plant. They will not roll in any direction without pointing the wheels before trying to move. AND, that is with the wood platform alone with no weight on it at all! After I had drilled pilot holes for screws and put the casters in place on the bottom of the wood, it would not lay flat. Some, not all, needed to have a recess for the center where it lays against the wood. I thought maybe that was the cause for swivel not working. Dug out the center so that base would lay flat and it still would not rotate properly once it was on the floor. No matter how small your project, do NOT buy these casters. August 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't bother I should have known better. These are really not horrible if they are used on something with a very low weight limit and a smooth floor. Otherwise buy something better. August 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money on these. I wish that I had read the reviews before purchasing 3 packs of these junk casters. The package states light duty with a 50 pound load capacity rating so I installed them under some paper mache statues that were mounted on small wooden platforms. The statues weighed no more than 5 pounds. What a waste of money, time and effort. The only way these casters will roll is if you manually point them in the direction that you want them to go. Otherwise the wheels will drag sideways. The package also states swivel bearing when there are no bearings existing in it's construction. I don't understand how HD can sell such pitiful junk. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by LOW LOW LOW QUALITY Very disappointing product. I installed it under 14" x 14" base to roll a 12 pounds planter. The wheels will not move the way it was advertised and that was without any weight. Added the planter and the wheels will hardly move with or without the weight. Useless and a waste of time. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Complete JUNK! These things are junk! They will not roll when any weight is applied to them. I mounted all 4 to a 2 foot long 1 x 6 with nothing else on it and only one would roll. When I put some weight on it all they would do is slide. If you buy these you are THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money on these I mounted these on the bottom of a rolling tray to go under the bed and the casters don't swivel. I tried it on carpet, vinyl and hardwood. The package says that it has ball bearing swivels but they don't swivel, the wheels just skid on the floor causing the trays to go in odd directions. August 29, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worthless Don't swivel, don't roll. Total waste of money and time, not to mention the fact that you only find that out after drilling 16 holes in your material. January 17, 2014
