Heavy duty well built pump. All parts intact and no assembly needed. Three year warranty makes this a dependable pump. If it wasn't would be a 1 yr. warrtany! Have used Everbilt pumps before and they lasted many years on a community well for 50 people. The pump came fully assembled and is easy to connect and submerse into well. This will lasy a long time for a single home well.

The Everbilt 1 hp submersible pump is well made. The warranty is respectable. My complaint is it's 10 gpm output. True it is a deep well pump but for most pumps the less the total developed head the higher the discharge volume. Not this pump, it only does 10 gpm. Dismal for a 1 hp pump. My 1/2 hp aerator tank pump does 20 gpm. It would be feasible for the house pump to run the aerator tank dry because the well pump could not keep up, not to mention the well pump is also for irrigation and my sprinkler zones are sized for 20 gpm. I don't know why this is the only choice of 1 hp pump at our local Home Depot as this pump is made for wells up to 300' deep and most wells in this area are less than 80'. I returned it to the store.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ThisOldGarageNJ Really Nice Pump !!!
After 25 years my old pump finally gave up. Found this one and according to the chart they provided it was the correct replacement, It arrived well packed via UPS. It is a solid well built HEAVY pump. Replacement was simple and easy, disconnect power, pull old pump up the shaft, connect new pump ie: wires, pipe.... slide it back down the hole.. I had water pumping almost instantly. Pressure and volume were more than adequate, Im hoping it will be another 25 years before I have to replace it, But from the feel of this pump I dont think Im going to have to replace it in my lifetime which Im hoping is another 30-40 years,,,, You will be pleased as this is a quality pump at a reasonable price...

I have only been using this pump for about a week now and it is meeting all expectations. This pump appears well built and is easy to set up. I am only pumping from about thirty feet. The pump pumps a lot of volume with plenty of pressure from that depth. I can not find any flaws in it.This pump has proven to be powerful and well built. Works perfectly and I recommend it. Very easy to wire. Shipping was perfect and a very professional company to deal with. Every question I had was answered very quick and precise.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paul Very impressive pump!
This pump is very impressive out of the box, all gleaming stainless steel except a top cover made of very thick sturdy plastic.
It is actually made by one of the largest pump companies using one of the better motors, to EverBilt's specifications and branding.
10GPM (600GPH) is ample for multiple residential fixtures.
Picking a pump is more technical than most homeowner projects.
A "2 wire" pump actually has 3 wires down the well (a ground-wire is required). A "3-wire" pump actually has 4 wires down the well and a controller box up top.
All of H-D's normally stocked deep well pumps are nominal 10GPM (600GPH) is ample for multiple residential fixtures. Business and agriculture users may need larger capacity.
The pump HorsePower must be appropriate to the well depth. A half-horse pump in a very deep well may not even lift water to the surface. A high-power pump in a shallow well can burst the tank if the pressure switch sticks. Use the guide listed above and study the downloadable Manual. Specs for residential pumps include reasonable tap-pressure. If you are on the line between two power levels and are concerned about pressure, you may want the larger model. However there are many other reasons inside pressure may be low (small pipes, dirty filters, mis-set pressure switch, bogged pressure tank). Again, you may do better with expert advice.
