The description says compatible for copper pipe. How about pvc as my water pipes are all pvc?

Asked by: mike
Yes, absolutely, I use the insulation on plastic pex pipes in my attic and they help prevent freeze ups. Just be sure to check your size...pex, pvc, cpvc and copper vary slightly in size, but it is not a problem. The foam insulation is also great for sealing gaps around window A/C units

What is the maximum temperature for this product?
Asked by: Thanks
This product can take the temperature of boiling water without a problem. But it will shrink and harden if you hit it with a torch when soldering. Molten solder will melt it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 1" pipe insulation The peel and stick turned loose in numerous spots, so I wrapped it continuous with 2" Gorilla tape around the pipe and should work fine. I was planning on wrapping it anyway.
