Product Overview

These cabinet screws are wood screws most commonly used in cabinetry applications. The head is painted for a decorative look and the body is a thinner diameter to resist wood splitting. Zinc plating provides some corrosion protection. Does not require a pre-drilled hole.

Rated 1.4 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Snaps at threads Two out of six snapped at the threads while installing wall cabinets. August 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad screws I wish i had read some reviews before purchasing this in store. When i i used these screws to install a cabinet, 5 of them stripped and 1 broke off. Do not buy these. December 9, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by total junk For $9 for a package of 25 these screws are overpriced and worthless. Tried mounting our first cabinet, pre-drilled the holes and 3 out of 4 screws snapped. Total junk. September 13, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality: They strip and snap easily. They seem to be made out of poor quality metal. The Philips head strips them out like butter. Most of the screws I was able to sink without stripping snapped off due to torsional stress. July 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Head Strips why anyone would manufacturer a cabinet screw with a head that strips the minute your drill driver is used is beyond belief. And then once installed, the stripped head looks terrible. And if you wished to remove the screw - good luck with a stripped head ! HD: Why did you discontinue your previous good line of cabinet screws and replace them with this junk ? January 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing like a good screw.. .. to finish the job. Used to put up new white cabinets also bought from HD. The white head blended in nicely so extra work was not needed to cover them up. As I write this, I see a description of the product above stating that it's a machine screw for use with nuts or threaded receptacles. WRONG. This is a wood screw. November 19, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality Needed to drill pilot holes as the screws won't bite into cabinet back. Heads stripped out completely halfway through - will need my hacksaw to cut head and back out. Avoid - cheap screws that came with cabinet were better quality. October 15, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Weak Screws These screws seem to be made of inferior grade metal. The heads snap off when any torsional stress is applied. Definate avoid. November 17, 2011
