Answer:
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot, Ray. For replacement of the bottom panel and hardware on your garage door, you will need to speak to a Garage Door Expert in your local Home Depot store. Those parts would need to be special ordered. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.

Answer:
Springs are designed to match a specific door weight. You can also match the color of the loop on the end of your existing springs as the colors are standard. If you cannot determine the weight of the door or the color then we recommend having a professional door repair company weigh the door for you.
Thanks,
Stuart

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great springs...cables too short. For under $20 you cannot complain. The springs are great as expected. The cables...too short which caused the single car garage door to not close by 2 feet. Spend the $9 and buy the 2 pack of 12ft cables to replace the cables that this comes with. Myself, I spent $50 to buy 4 pulleys, the spring kit, and a 2pack of 12ft cables. Door works like new considering its a 20+ year automatic door system. April 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Install Installation of the new springs and safety cables was very easy. The springs worked so well that no adjustment of the cables was required to complete the installation. On the down side, the Home Depot website said that there were 5 on the shelf, but when I arrived at the store there was only one on the shelf. The one that was left looked like it had been through a war, but all of the items appeared to be in the box. Later the website said there still were four available. December 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great so far, good stock Great replacement extension springs for the older types of garage doors that don't use torsion springs. Home Depot had a great selection of springs in stock. Installation is a breeze. Matched the old one with color coding. July 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good deal Seem to be a good quality product and easy to install just be sure and get cables for door lift because only the safety cables come with the springs. May 19, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by work good I bought this to replace an old spring system from the 50's that was original with the house with wood doors. The spring is easy to put up but the cable had to be hooked on the door. The old style hook had to be taken off the door and the door had to be taken out of the railing. I ended up putting a new bracket on to make it easier. The cable was too short that came with the set. I had to buy the longer cable set separate. It took me 2 hours to put it in and I have no experience and I did it alone. The most time was spent on figuring out how to hook the cable onto the door and disassemble the railing. I had help from Youtube as well. I would give it 5 stars if the cable would be longer. September 25, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did the job This is the second set I have installed. Second garage door. Not difficult to install - time consuming December 10, 2012
