No, not with the basin
The 18" Everbilt lid sold at Home Depot for this basin has the 4" grommet (i.e. hub)
It would be nice if the basin had the grommet(hub) since some folks would like to use a different lid.
(The lid I like has discharge. vent, electric holes shifted to one side of the lid. This takes a little less space on the install)

Hi Tim. The pipe should extend in the basin enough be secure but will not interfere with the pump or the float switch. 1"-2" will suffice. Thanks.

Hi James. The basin comes with a single 4-7/8" hole. A second hole can be made using a hole saw, reciprocating saw or saber saw. Thank you.

Yes generally this is what they are designed for. The sewage basin, at least the one I bought at Home Depot, was a solid basin (no holes in the side). Once you get your rough out for the basement bathroom complete and all you pipes pitched correctly, that is when you measure to cut your inlet pipe and connecting with the proper flanges so it doesn't leak, then you are able to run your sewage exit piping Read More

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rubber gasket a tight fit. Rubber gasket around 4" opening is a tight fit, good. June 22, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sewage pump Basin The 18" x 30" sewage pump basin was a good quality basin, it was priced way below my wholesale suppliers. The freight charge was cheap and was delivered even quicker than stated. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sewage pump basin Worked well , a little large but not much is offered other than the 12x12 box. December 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pump basin I used this for a 'french drain' container in an area where I had problems of water standing. It worked great for what I needed. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sewage Sump Pump Basin The basin works well for us. It would have been much nicer if there had been one in the store where we could have installed it right then, instead of having to wait for a delivery. I understand that in Texas, there normally isn't much need for one, but to have at least 2 on hand would be a good thing since you stock the sump pump. September 15, 2015
