Answer:
Not nearly like 1/4" rope. It is more like 0.040" (1 mm) is diameter - like a heavy string. But it is very strong; can't break it by hand.

No, it looks like an 1/8 inch but the polypropylene gives it excellent strength for this purpose

most inexpensive twines will break if pulled hard or because they get abraded by the branches that are being bundled. This twine does not.

This stuff is just great for bundling newspapers, small repair jobs, and keeping packages tidy. However, dispose of the product responsibly since most conventional plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, poly(vinyl chloride) and poly(ethylene terephthalate), are non biodegradable, and their increasing accumulation in the environment has been a threat to the planet.

Yes the color is off but it functions great, much better than natural options. I have never broken it no matter how hard I pull.

Did a buy online and pick up in store. When I got to the store the twine was orange, not the "natural" color as pictured.

I ordered this twine for a craft project, needing and expecting a natural light brown color. What I got was some horrible orange/peach colored stuff. It went back,and I'm pretty annoyed that HD can't even update their website with an accurate picture of the product.
