Customer Reviews

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great, and yes, the pin is removeable (if you know how) It works like a hinge should. Swings easily, but firmly supports the door. The included screws are easy to screw in. What more can you expect from a hinge? For those complaining about the pin, no, you can't remove it by hand. Use a nail set to tap it up from the bottom of the hinge. No nail set? A machine screw or any sort of thin metal stick works just as well. Contrary to the naysayer reviews, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this hinge. I recommend it. February 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great value These are great looking and feeling hinges! Those that complain about the pin not being able to be removed probably don't know that a pin should be driven out from the bottom with a punch, not by hand. Hinge is free moving, yet firm. January 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pin Is Not Removable I bought a pair and the pin wouldn't come out of either one. They seem to be well manufactured and the price is $1 less than the other big box home improvement store, but the fact the pins don't come and this is not a new problem results in a poor rating. They're not a good value if they're not easy to use and the quality suffers if you can't use them as advertised. September 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Had to return The hinges look and feel great. Sure they would install and hold my door. Had the same issue as other reviewer with not being able to get the pin out. When I went to return the item the CS rep told me it was the #1 reason they are returned. If this is a known problem then why do you carry them? Or why has this issue not been addressed by Everbilt? Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by can't get pin out I'm almost about to damage the hinge by trying to hammer out the pin. it won't budge for 3 of them. Why make a door hinge if you can't get the pin out? September 5, 2014
