Product Overview

Everbilt anti-siphon frost proof Sillcocks assure protection against freezing and undesirable back siphoning. Because they're frost proof, they can stop outside hydrants from freezing and bursting the pipes. Plus, the anti-siphon feature protects against water siphoning back to contaminate the potable water system. Also, unlike anti-siphon attachments, which must be manually drained to prevent freezing, the integral anti-siphon design is self draining.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by lousy flow rate After complaining to myself about the apparent flow rate of this unit, I just quantitatively compared the flow rate of this hose unit vs the 1/2" non-freeze-free sillcock installed on the other side of my house - and the lame little sillcock on 1/2" copper filled the bucket twice as fast as this one installed on 3/4" copper. It takes me nearly twice as long to water my plants than it used to take with my old 3/4" frost-free sillcock - I'm extremely disappointed that I decided to replace the whole unit rather than just replace the washers on the one I had. Plus, it takes perhaps 5 whole turns to go from closed to open - you can't do any better than that? August 24, 2016
