Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Chevysales Leaked from Spiket Connection
I have bought these before as nothing else to choose from at my store.
Went through 2 sets as had to return first pair as they leaked where attached to spicket on both hot and cold. Returned for another set got them not to leak.
Then bought a set for my daughters new house and they leaked same place as my originals returned to another Home Depot and got a GE 4' set with a right angle end they fit perfectly. Won't buy these again very unhappy with design where washer sits inside of the ends too far back with brass center extending into spicket.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by reviewerx incorrectly designed hoses
These hoses leak at the supply fitting no matter how loose or tight they are attached. Comparing to my old rubber hoses: (1) the rubber washer is behind the brass fitting, not in front (e.g. between) the two parts to seal, so of course the water leaks, (2) my old rubber hoses have metal screen filters to avoid ingesting rust or sand into my washer. These do not. Yikes.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by s80t699 Poor washer design causes leaks
I couldn't get the hoses to not leak at the shut off valve. I had just replaced the valve so it had a perfectly clean connection and even used some Teflon tape which shouldn't have been necessary. I tried hand tight with a slight tightening with pliers and then even more and never got the leak to stop. Tried switching the ends around just in case and it made no difference. I returned them and bought the 4' GE 90 deg. steel braided hoses which worked perfectly, their washers filled the connector better than these ones. By the way, the GE hoses were in a special GE section near the appliances, not in the area with these hoses.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handy Leaks at connection to hose (both hoses)
Both hoses were properly installed per directions. Both hoses sprayed water (a lot) at the connections between the fittings and the hoses. They are going right back. I wish the GE hoses I was looking for had been at the location in the store as all the other washing machine hoses. My 14 year old rubber hoses were much much better than than these totally defective hoses.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DaBlanch Delivers water to my washing machine like a G
My clothes needed water, both warm and cold, to properly be cleansed. These hoses do the job. They are labeled with colors that are pleasing to the eye and are different from each other so you don't get confused. Bomberiffic! (That's good for any old people or young people reading my review.)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HandymanOnTheGo Best Washing Machine Hose Investment
I chose this Washing Machine Hose due to its length in 5-feet as opposed to 6-feet with other leading brands in hardware stores. This is the best investment any homeowner should consider to avoid hose burst and flood damage in homes. Those rubber hose that usually come with the Washing Machine aren't the best hose to depend on. They do last a few years however it should be replaced after a few years to be on the safe side. Its better to be safe then sorry.
