Product Overview

When you choose the Everbilt stainless steel braided supply line, you're choosing a product that starts with an extruded core of PVC tubing. The core is then over-braided with polyester yarn and another layer of PVC material. The final layer consists of stainless steel braid to form a strong, yet flexible supply line. Brass nuts on both ends ensure a solid connection on the inlet and outlet ends.

California residents: see   Proposition 65 information

  • Stainless steel braiding over braided PVC for strength
  • Use to hook up your washing machine to the water supply
  • Solid brass 3/4 in. pipe thread on both ends
  • Maximum working pressure 125 psi
  • Bends freely, without kinking or crimping, installation is easier, especially in cramped quarters
  • Use to hookup both cold and hot water supplies

Do I need screens with these hoses?

There do not appear to be any screens in these hoses for filtering out sediments. The hoses I have now on my GE Profile washer have built-in screens. I can't find screens in the store and I'm not sure if those online will work with these hoses. Will I risk ruining my washer if I use these hoses without screens?
Asked by: stargazer
The hoses do not come with screens. You may use sediment filters if your water source is an issue.

Customer Reviews

3/4 in. x 3/4 in. x 5 ft. Stainless Steel Washing Machine Hose (2-Pack) is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Appear to be good quality, but leak I purchased these, along with a dryer steam hose kit. All of the hoses appear to be of good quality, and feel heavy duty. The steam hose leaked immediately, from a factory crimped connection. The hot side hose started to leak after one week of use, from a factory crimped connection. My water pressure is set at 60psi maximum. I have been a plumber for over 15 years. I should have looked at the reviews before I purchased them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little short and tend to leak During our home inspection, our inspector suggested replacing the washing machine hoses with stainless steel hoses. These were convenient because they came in a two pack. Our hoses did leak initially but I looked at the reviews and tried threading them just so- that solved the problem. I do wish they were 6 feet- I was surprised I could just find 5 ft in the two pack. Overall, these were ok.

After purchasing these hoses I was hesitant to use them based on the reviews but they worked out really well for me. No leaks at installation. They looked to be of good construction. I will update if there are any issues down the road.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from these leak. Leaks. Not the threads. It's where the hose meets the fitting. Just bad hoses. Save yiuaelf the time / trouble and get somethibg else. . If you buy a washer they force youto buy these. Old supply lines were fine, never leaked, this garbage resuktes in nothing but leaks and damage. So don't have HD install and don't get these. Useless garbage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor washer design causes leaks I couldn't get the hoses to not leak at the shut off valve. I had just replaced the valve so it had a perfectly clean connection and even used some Teflon tape which shouldn't have been necessary. I tried hand tight with a slight tightening with pliers and then even more and never got the leak to stop. Tried switching the ends around just in case and it made no difference. I returned them and bought the 4' GE 90 deg. steel braided hoses which worked perfectly, their washers filled the connector better than these ones. By the way, the GE hoses were in a special GE section near the appliances, not in the area with these hoses.

If you have plastic threads on your washing machine like I do, make sure they are threaded dead straight. I have done multiple loads of laundry with no leaks.

I purchased the Everbilt stainless steel washing machine hose 2-pack; it was clearly labelled as a two pack with "red and blue colors for easy connection," and the contents were were listed as two 3/4 connectors-- problem is there is only one (1) hose in the package. I now have to return to Home Depot to point out the misleading packaging.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from incorrectly designed hoses These hoses leak at the supply fitting no matter how loose or tight they are attached. Comparing to my old rubber hoses: (1) the rubber washer is behind the brass fitting, not in front (e.g. between) the two parts to seal, so of course the water leaks, (2) my old rubber hoses have metal screen filters to avoid ingesting rust or sand into my washer. These do not. Yikes.
