Customer Reviews

Rated 1.3 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poorly constructed pulley I purchased 4 of these one year ago to update my garage door. The two attached to the frame ( by door ) were wobbling badly. I checked and found they were ready to self destruct. I went to HD again to see if they had anything better I could buy that would last more than a year. They did not. Even the associate said they were not good after looking up the reviews on his smart phone. Everyone said they had the same issue with the bearings failing miserably way to soon in the life of these. Honestly, I think HD should offer a better pulley as an alternative even if it cost more. Also, they should discontinue the Everbuilt line since the product is rated in the cellar. May 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by People rating this low didnt grease the bearing. You have to. I have to review this because I was forced to buy 4 of these. My garage door was shaking even with the new opener installed. I went back and grabbed 4 of these. I then checked the pulleys on the door frame and the ones for the extension springs. BOTH of mine werent lubricated and failed about 4 years ago would be my guess. I bought these and when I opened them. It was OBVIOUS to me what the problem was. You can see right into the bearing in the picture and there isnt any grease in there. I manually pushed in some good axle grease and immediately the bearings started moving free. It really should say that in the instructions but that is the problem I see. There isnt ONE bit of grease in the bearings on this and no wonder people said they failed quickly. Grease your bearings people! May 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by One star is too many Not only do the bearings fail in short order, but I have also had the pulley split in two. Please note that there is no rating below one star and this product consistently gets the lowest rating. I just wish there had already been reviews online before I purchased these pulleys. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk lasted 100 days before falling apart. Of course 10 days past home depot return policy of 90 days. Do not buy this product March 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely Cheap Junk These very cheaply constructed pulleys lasted two years and the bearings then disintegrated and fell out. There are other online sellers that sell ones that have a mean failure time much longer than two years. July 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality Pulley split in two a few days after I installed it. I plan to replace it with a different brand July 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bearings are shot AGAIN This is going to be the third time I have to replace these pulleys in less than a year. The bearings are totally useless. Buy anything but this one! April 25, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by do not waste your money very, very poor quality. stay away from this product. i installed two, and they lasted no more than two months. they are just not solid enough for amy garage door. March 7, 2014
