Man I wish they did. The way it is, the position puts several of my doors a few degrees short of 90 or more degrees wide open.

Answer:
One part of the magnetic door stop is installed on the back of the door and the other piece is installed on the baseboard or wall. I am not sure if this can be installed on tile.

The spring loaded catch comes so tightly screwed together, I can't get it off to mount on the door. Anyone else have this problem?

Answer:
Drop two of the screw into the holes, run a screw driver between them and twist it off. The threads are coarse so once you crack it, it will screw right off by hand. There is NO mention of this in the Everbilt instructions.

Answer:
The long side screws into the base board, the shorter spring-loaded end screws into the door. Be careful to line them up.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 41 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No more slamming door! My bathroom door was always slamming shut whenever there was a breeze. This magnetic doorstop is attractive, can be installed at any angle and is made of high-quality materials. It was very easy to install and works beautifully. October 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by be careful with the screws Be careful with the screws. The screws came with the parts may not be the prefect one for your walls. You may better choose your own screws. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing value for the price! Easy enough to install and for the price it definitely looks like it costs way more! I bought these for my office but now I'm thinking about them for home! April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 3 IN. SATIN NICKEL MAGNETIC DOORSTOP WITH CATCH does a great job of holding the door open with no fuss. December 15, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Blue tint to the white currently I've used these white door stops on various projects for years and they work well, last well and are the best value on the market BUT lately the white version of this product has a blue to blueish green tint to it. It is apparent even in the package at the store, if you are looking for it. When you hold it up to a primed piece of moulding and especially when the stop is against a semigloss white the blue hue really stands out. Other than that it is a very good product. July 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product; poor instructions Doorstop looks and works great, but the absence of instructions for taking apart the catch frustrated me until I found a YouTube video that explained the secret. If you are also stymied by this aspect, just compress the spring-loaded "button" with your thumb while holding the center of the mounting plate with your forefinger, and the body of the catch will unscrew off the mounting plate. You can then mount the plate, and easily screw the body back on over the spring. Judging by the comments on the YouTube video, a LOT of people were having this same issue. March 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love these magnetic door stoppers These magnetic door stoppers look great on the door and walls and even work with our curved walls behind the doors! April 12, 2016
